I know on the smaller 139qmb engines, there is a head with 64mm valves and a head with 69mm valves. You can't use just any rocker arm assembly on both, because (in this case) there are also 2 different types (sizes) of rocker arms --- that can be swapped out, or a new assembly bought if you can't find just the rocker arms.
Now I'm not saying that's the problem in your case though. You have some oddball parts that I am unfamiliar with.
I'd darn near be tempted to send that cylinder, along with the head you were gonna send back to scrappy, and see if they can match a head and rocker assembly to that cylinder. I guess that'd be a worst case scenario.
You could maybe try measuring the 2 bolt hole locations--- are they the same distance apart on both heads? Some sort of measurement might be the info you need to figure this out.
I haven't been following all your posts, but do you have your original head to compare the valves to?
Sorry, it is confusing and I hope I'm not making it worse. You need oddball parts that match, obviously.

I wound up getting this kit. It wasn't in stock in the US store, so I had to wait a month for it since it came from Europe. IMO, more places should sell kits like this. Most of the jets in it are "in the zone" for most modders. You get 10 jets from 80-98, in increments of 2, rather than increments of 5 that a few popular vendors here sell. If I had a parts store and had to choose only one kit, this would be the one (for the smaller engines): www.racingplanetusa.com/main-naraku-p-4762-1.html?backcPathco=25&cPath=27807_28163

From personal experience, a few years ago I ordered a 139qmb that really was a 72cc(aka 80cc) and I knew/hoped it was going to be the same rather than a stock 50---- these engines weren't sold or labeled as 72cc either, on the site. I bought a few engines from there, and one was even a 63cc. I had no idea honestly, just knew it had a lot more pep, lol.
Anyway, I took the new engine for a spin hoping it had that "pep", but it didn't so I was a bit worried it was a stock 50. A simple swap of the carb (upjet) with my old one and BAM, huge difference. Without that bigger jet I couldn't tell it was a 50cc or 72cc.
I don't have a performance exhaust nor a pod filter-- although the filter in my airbox is less restrictive than most. I use jets in the low/mid 80s with my 47mm piston.
I feel like with your 80cc and pod filter, that you'll need a jet in the mid/upper 80s at the least.

Metalhead-- welcome, and hopefully you get those scoots running sooner or later.
Do you game on PC? Thinking of getting a decent desktop this year. Something different. I have a PS4, and I just bought the VR headset a few days ago-- pretty amazing. Definitely a one-of-a-kind experience!
I kept all my older systems from when I was younger-- still play them of course.
You mentioned you are a horror nut--- but did you play the new Resident Evil 7? Not sure if you like those games, but it's pretty good, imo.
Anyway, I think you'll figure those scooter probs out, as you seem like you have more than 1/2 a brain, lol.

Was it the gas that was already in the fuel line draining or does it just never stop? It should stop within a few seconds, and then should only start again when vacuum is applied.
If it never stops, your petcock is bad. Plus, you may even have gas coming down into the vacuum line (from the petcock) and straight into the intake manifold, and that is not good. The diaphragm in the petcock is shot, if that's the case.
If the gas never stops coming out the fuel hose with the engine not running (no vacuum), your petcock is bad, period.
Now, the carb slide diaphragm (and spring) that rockynv was talking about, is underneath the big cap on TOP of the carb.
With your new carb, make sure the float bowl drain screw is tightened up and not loosened. If it's loosened, gas in the carb's float bowl will drain out, and that may be the "leak" you are looking for. Where is the leak coming from??

This is a 2014 150cc qmj157 engine if it helps do rollers actually wear out? in other words should they be replaced on a set schedule? miles-months? Yeah they get major flat spots after awhile. It'll effect performace a little bit. I tend to change mine once, more like twice a year on average-- like early spring and mid-summer. I put quite a few miles on my small engine per year. Rollers are fairly cheap anyway. I also keep a close eye on the "v" gudes that slip onto the variator back plate-- once they crack and break, there will be metal to metal contact within the variator and that will cause performance issues and will trash your variator in the long run.

It could also be a broken clutch pad that is engaging the clutch.

Check the bushings for the motor mount area, and there probably is another piece that is in the middle of the engine and the frame that has bushings. If those are worn, your back tire will hang low.
Take it off the main stand and lift the back of the scooter up while looking in the motor mount area for movement.
Edit: Although your stand or the area around it seems where I would think the problem would be.

Well a lot depends on when you put the pod filter on (before or after the new carb?)
When you allowed more air into the carb (pod filter), did you use a bigger main jet? More air usually means bigger jet.
That's why it's important to know what jets you have (or had) in both carbs.
You might need to upjet, not downjet.

I'd look at the jet # that is in the new carb regardless of what any manufacturer or parts dealer says it's supposed to have.
Compare the numbers on the old and new jets. Use the old jet if you still have it.
Anything in that range should be fine if it's still stock, unless it's really a 63cc as some are, but still should run fine.
Is the carb the same size in mm as the old carb?
Any mods done to the scooter?
Trial and error--- play with the jets is the only way, imo.

Lol, I'm certain that if gas hits $4-5 per gallon again, the forum will be flooded with the same day-to-day issues we saw all the time back then. Maybe not as many though if things really are getting better.
IMO, this summer was the slowest here in the forum I've ever seen it with troubleshooting threads-- especially with new active members. Most posts all year were the 2-word games, scrabble, and "story-time" between members-- the same members. Summer was dead here besides that-- anyone else feel that way? I guess that's a good thing for the people that do own scoots.
You guys think we'll ever see scoots made here in the U.S.?

I, and a couple coworkers, like to call my scoot a Harley--- because it's so ridiculous. Fun 'n games.
I'll even play the part, too. "Yeah the whole world is gonna hear me coming down the road".... "they're gonna be breaking their necks when they see me ride by...." ; )
