just got a new belt and it takes fprever to get up to speed i went past the 50 mile break in but it doe get to 40 now  |

no offense but transmision has nothing to do with the smoke the only thing the trany has in common is the crankshaft which spins variator
ur engine dont smoke like that unless ur a 2-stroke
your cylender is getting oil in the combustion buring oil is white similar to a car
you very well could have melted the shaft or warped as they say
but the smoke means u blew somethig in ur top end

yeah ur piston is blown OR a gasket in the head either way u sholud get a bbk because you hhave to take it all apart anyway
mine did that and bbk are like $50 shipped u will spend the same if ont more for stock stuff
when a bbk comes with piston, gaskets, cylender and head (if 100cc bbk)

white smoke means burning oil MOST of the time
i kno when i over heatd my piston white smoke came out

scoots arnt ment for more then 10 miles i would say they heat fast
i try to go easy after 10 miles and make sure it cools off
synthetic oil helps ALOT keeps it cooler longer

u said it was slighly below the pipe...thats a good thing use a GOOD pair of vice grips NOT a cheapy $5 from advancd auto trust me on that  |
