I changed some of my rollers and mixed 5 and 6 grams (3 of each) and changed my belt. Now when I take off for the first few time it snatches really hard and sometimes it even pulls the front wheel of the ground. It's my first time really getting into the CVT and i'm confused. I have put the old belt and rollers back in and it's still doing the same thing. I'm thinking I'm messing up when putting it back together some how. Opinions please.
Thanks, PCB

Mine is the same. Didn't do this ever until after the BBK. but that shouldn't be causing the issue.

I'd go 7 or even 8 gram (on that BBK) if you don't see/hear any problems in the CVT.. might even pick up a few MPH. If your popping weelezzz.. your running high RPM at a low MPH.. Cool but not practical (not in FL that is) I'd like to see a video.. you can never be too cool tell you pop a v.i.d.e.o ^ Then when you fix it, you'll know just how Bad $ss you where .. you know back in the day..

Every time I took off the clutch, somtimes if I didn't clean it very well and didn't get all of the grease off, it would do that to mine as well. It revs higher than normal when taking off at a stand still and.. ready... set.... jump
If riding when just started, (COLD), sometimes it will.
Just a thought.

CVT is not my thing. Maybe it's one of the guides or something. I'll just tinker with it until I can get it to act right again. I haven't been able to mess with it to much because we have had like 55 inches of rain the last 10 weeks. It's been a horrible summer for riding here or even waorking on the scooter if you don't have a garage.
