8 mile round trip for work. Sometimes I'll take a cruise just for fun when the weather permits.

When the weather is nice, a round trip to work and back is 20 miles. It's just been too darn cold for this old(er) guy and Betsy Mae for that matter. I won't start her under 40 degrees. In another month I'll be on her every day again!

Day in day out, I ride 10-20 miles, including work and errands. Many days I ride over 40 miles if I have to cross the valley, Vegas is a larger city than many people realize, and on weekends I sometimes put in close to 100 on a good riding day.

Before I changed jobs, about 70 miles per week. I commuted to work a couple of times per week at 24 miles round trip and rode 20 miles on the weekend. I have changed jobs and my health insurance doesn't start until March 1, so I have only been riding very close to home to keep the scoot alive. My new commute is 60 miles round trip via surface streets, and I will probably do that once a week when my health insurance kicks in.

Started with Pacific Telephone and Telegraph in November 1970. My one way commute was 18.3 miles from Torrance to Downtown L.A.. In 1Q71 I bought a house in Gardena (where I still live) -- 14.3 miles one way. About six years later I transferred to the Gardena C.O. -- 2.7 miles one way. In ' I pulled the switch from my Stepper switch, got into O.C.S. in '87, the barn in 139th street, 1.3 miles from home. That was sweet! Also leased. In '89 we moved to an owned complex, 3.6 miles to work, 3.7 miles back home. Until I retired, I was riding/driving less than 4K miles a year. Since I retired I am riding more, about 5.5K miles a year, mostly shopping. Retired I am cooking more, more fresh food, more picky about my food, riding more shopping for dinner.
