Just came back from visiting with Matt at Parts for Scooters and can't say enough good things about their operation in Sunny Florida. Matt has got a real nice bunch working for him and is really dedicated to making his company tops in taking care of their customers. I don't believe that I have in the past given them high enough praise to properly portray the fine young gentleman you are dealing with when doing business with them. Kudos to Matt for setting such a fine example of excellence in business and as a person.

In my opinion, there is no better company to buy parts from in the USA. I've been dealing with PFS for a decade now and have NEVER had a bad experience... that's really impressive. Matt and the rest of the crew there are fantastic people who we are glad to support.

As of today, I've made 4 orders from PartsforScooters.com and haven't had a single complaint. They ship fast and product is always as described. While they may not be the cheapest (price), their selection is quite extensive.
*note I haven't had to return anything yet so i can not speak to that aspect.

I used these guys a lot when I had my 50's, they are awesome, great selection also. Customer support is a big + when ordering on-line. You should have them bookmarked.

They are OFF my list of suppliers after the crappy way they dealt with a part they LISTED INCORRECTLY. Blamed me for ordering off the web instead of over the phone, refused to pay for shipping either way.
There are other suppliers. PFS will not be one I use again.

I have been using them for years with no problems ever and i have only ever ordered via the website. nevermind found your other post.

Geeeeeeeeeeeez I can not believe this!!! Are you going to go to every post that refers to PFS and blame them for your mistake? ? Their site clearly states the following www.partsforscooters.com/100-35_GY6_Engine_Mount "GY6 Engine Mount for most 150c and 125cc GY6 engine based Sport Style scooters. Please check measurements and photos before ordering." www.partsforscooters.com/100-35_GY6_Engine_Mount "Overall Length: 14 inches" itistheride.boards.net/thread/8900/caution-parts-scooters You admitted that you did a "ballpark" measurement and found out when you got the part that there was a 1/2 inch difference. How can you say it was PFS fault when you didn't measure the part correctly in the first place? ? They clearly state to check the measurement and photos before ordering!

meh, you know the drill. crappy chinese standards spawns another dissatisfied customer. the sad part is, it's the dealer that gets blamed for it. the local dealer here (which is 30 miles from here) wouldn't have exchanged the part. he has repeatedly told me "if you leave here with it, don't bring it back". the good thing about that is, i can usually bring the old part for comparison. even that isn't always a gaurentee it will work. the autochoke on my bike is a typical example of this. apparently there are 2 types, AC and DC. one runs off the stator, the other runs off 12 volts DC. they are identical but they cannot be interchanged. leave it to the chinese to come up with something like that. i finally got tired of replacing mine, so i tore apart an old one to figure out how i could get my ride to run without it. i finally got the job done but had to hand choke the engine in cold weather to start it, otherwise the bike ran fine.
honestly, PFS is not a shady dealer
we all have to face it, you MUST be a reasonably competent mechanic to own a chinese ride.
i had to replace the radiator on my ride, and i sure wasn't going to spend a 100 bucks for this little thing. so i got the bright idea of using an old car heater core. i cussed and swore and chopped and sawed, but i got it to work. it even worked better than the original. yeah, i tend to ramble . . .

dollartwentyfive Any time I order a part online, I stress about whether it's going to be the one I need. If I'm lucky I'll find an ad with measurements, but yeah, I study the parts and try to make sure they are correct. I have left questions and sent emails as well. All in all I know if I get the wrong part I'll have to at least pay shipping unless the part isn't as described. A dealer saying a part "fits Chinese scooters" is certainly not reassuring as there are so many kinds, and I probably wouldn't complain much about what I got, but if it said "Fits 2008 150cc Roketa" then, yeah, I'd expect a full refund, including shipping, if it didn't fit the bike.

Matt and PFS are top notch. I started working with Universal Parts back in 2009 and everyone in the company is professional and honest. Being in the chinese parts business can be really rough though, but I think they handle it very well. Some customers can be a real pain in the butt and just want to hate on everyone and anyone, and they are always the loudest. Out of 1 or 2 really loud complainers, there are hundreds that go silent because they are happy customers and rarely give any praise, so this is a good posting here.
