Yes, the -B case thing is confusing in the GY6 world. It is not a gy6-200 and there is no such thing as a type 3, it's what we call a BN-150. Your's is made by Xingue by looking at your VIN number. It's a pretty decent quality factory. They were originally made by BengNang. The BN head is taller than the standard GY6 head and the two outer bolts are in different positions. We carry all parts for that. Most are in stock. If you don't see what you are looking for, call Kenny at 702-689-6035. Be sure and have some measurements on hand to double check compatibility before you order. www.scrappydogscooters.com/GY6-B_16__wheel_BN157QMJ.htmlchinesescooterparts.com/product-category/gy6-b-16-wheel-bn157qmj/

We had these made in Europe to ensure consistent quality and performance. I do agree, however, that chinese product is getting much better. Reminds me of japanese product back in the 60's. Everyone called it jap junk. Didn't take them long to become the standard in quality. We may end up having these made in china later on in order to lower costs, but right now, our standards for the manufacture of these just weren't going to be met at the factory I talked with over there, and the savings wasn't there either. Regardless, these things are cheap compared to anything else.

Shouldn't take a full speed shop to use this. I've used it on the road and tuned while riding. I set the unit at 5 degrees advance at all rpm's to start then progressively increased advance until performance peaked at those particular speeds. Keep an ear out for detonation which is an indicator of going too far...or bad gas which is common now with all the ethanol. The unit is programmable to up to 40 degrees advance, which is far enough for anything anywhere. This will work on twins as well if they have a single pickup trigger and wasted spark on in phase cylinders...or simply use two units if they are not in phase. Speed limit is 19,000 rpm's.

We have an initial load of Made in Europe fully programmable CDI units coming for scooters in the next week. They are called the Bolt Box. No computer needed. You can change all variables and advance on the 3 buttons provided on the front of the unit. Rev limit is fully adjustable as well, or set for no rev limit. The Bolt Box has a digital tachometer on the face of it as well. Works with AC stators which are most smaller scooters 50 and 150, or get the DC/AC inverter we sell as well for full DC function and eliminate your ignition stator! Works with GY6, 139QMB, CF250, VOG, JOG, 2T and 4T as well. Chinese, Taiwanese, Korean, European and all others. Bolt Box is only $179. and the inverter is only $49. . Try and find anything like that for any price anywhere. CDI's are not on the website yet, so taking pre-orders by phone or email. 702-689-6035 or service@scrappydogscooters.com Will be posted in the performance section of our website next week. www.scrappydogscooters.comwww.chinesescooterparts.comi.imgur.com/yXgSscQ.jpg

We just got notification from DHS Port Customs that we will no longer be able to import our JOG90 big bore 2stroke engines anymore. They have a new policy that requires us to provide a frame VIN number for each engine we import now to where the engine will be installed. As we cannot forecast what scooter our engines will be installed into before they are sold, there is no way that we can meet this requirement. This isn't a sale, but a warning that we are down to a dozen JOG90 enignes and that very well may be the last of them forever unless they change this requirement, which I doubt. If you ever wanted one of our big bore 2stroke engines, now is the time while supplies last. call 702-689-6035 or one of these links below: chinesescooterparts.com/product/jog90-long-case-complete-engine-assembled/www.scrappydogscooters.com/50cc_2stroke_Performance.html

I think just the opposite. Seems to be on too much meds with too much time on his hands. Apparently he doesn't have a life, or have to make a living like the rest of us. Get this. He called our office 25 times today. Twenty five! It took him all of 10 minutes after making my last post on his thread bashing us to call my personal phone while I was at home! It's getting really funny how this clown is so bored and angry with himself and hates the world, and everyone in it. Hey Troy, use your time more wisely and post a picture with a legible caliper showing how so wrong everyone is about the clamp instead of calling everyone here and calling them names and making threats and accusations.

Has he made the same threats of suing you? call the district attorney on you? call the cops on you? made numerous personal attacks and vulgar name calling? threatened to keep calling you and yelling at you if you didn't stop posting your opinion on him? This guy called our office last friday 22 times. Twenty two times. That's after he got a full refund and has the part. He seems to be quite the psychotic tyrant that just can't stand anyone saying anything in contrary to his opinion, and this on a forum thread that he started himself! He's called our office and my personal phone a couple of times today saying that every time I or anyone else makes a comment on him that he will continue to call and clog up the phone lines so he call yell and name call you and not listen to anything you have to say, like I'd have anything to say to him anyways. He's got his money, he's got our part, but he can't stand any comments or reply to his own postings on this forum and others. I don't think he has himself actively engaged or employed with anything of value and has alot of time on his hands, as well as alot of anger issues that has nothing to do really with us here. He's gone through about every review site he can with his tirades about us and others that dare to say something different than what he wants or says. I challenge Troy Hendrickson to go out and borrow or buy a modern digital caliper and measure those clamps on the steering stem and post a picture proving what you said is true, instead of those rusty old analogy calipers. Post it. Anywhere, and let us know. In the meantime, get a life and let the rest of us live without your abusive harassment.

Thanks much. He started on his rampage on 49ccscooter forum, then after he got his full refund and kept the part for free, which I thought was a very good outcome for him, he came over here and started his rant saying we were unethical, etc. How is getting the part for free and getting a full refund being unethical? It's odd. 49ccscoot.proboards.com/thread/10598/scrappy-dog-scooters?page=6

This is a good thread to keep in my opinion as a warning to other vendors. From the way he operated and talked, I think he has done things like this before to get free stuff, so this might be a warning to other vendors to watch out. The email he uses for payment has that same "peascreek" in it, and also has studio in it too. So, other vendors, if you see a payment email with peascreekstudios in it, watch out, there is going to be some serious trouble. His claim that he gave away the steering stem is suspicious. His posting on 49cc had said he had been looking for this elusive stem for a long time and could only find it with Scrappy, but with some modifications to the pivot shaft. I offered to help him find the exact match with my contacts with other factories, but he went on and on about a supposed 1mm difference in the clamp sizes. Less than one hour after he posted that he was giving away our steering stem for just the cost of shipping, he claimed it had already been sent to someone else. I believe he kept it and used it himself. The pictures he posted are gone now as well. I might be wrong, but sure is suspicious to me, and I'm glad this was his first and last purchase from us.

This customer had ordered a sunny steering stem, which we have had listed on our website for nearly 7 years, and have had no complaints. This is listed with the measurements of 27mm ID at the fork clamp for 27mm sunny style forks. As you can see in this picture, they are indeed 27mm. This customer had made claims that it was 26mm. We replied that the customer is welcome to return the steering stem and we'll inspect and measure it to ensure that our advertisement was correct, and if it was not, that we would gladly refund the customer his entire payment, plus return costs. The customer made incessant calls, messages, forum postings, emails, etc. His messages over 2 days were brutal, and we have them recorded. Osa, one of our phone gals, was appalled at the vulgar language and machine gun threats this customer was making to her. Osa had told him that he can return it and we'll take care of it. The customer insisted that we send him a return label as it was our 'mistake' and was mis-advertised. We spot checked our inventory with digital calipers and our inventory was correct and as advertised. The customer continued to blow up our phones with calls one after another yelling and screaming. My wife happened to be in the office and answered the phone. This customer passed even saying hello or explaining the issue to another person as my wife was not abreast of what was happening. We do have other customers. This guy started yelling and cussing and making such personal insults to my wife that she had tears in her eyes. She didn't even know who this was, or why he was yelling at her, and she couldn't even say anything to this guy because he wouldn't stop yelling at her. She called me up and told me what happened. I immediately decided to just refund this customers purchase, plus shipping costs, and let him keep the part as it's not worth all this over a 39. part to have my wife crying. If this is so important to this guy that he feels the need to be so angry and insulting to other people and women, then let him enjoy his free part. Now, even though he got a free part, has all his money, and the issue was resolved in less than 2 days, he is now on multiple forums attacking our business. I just don't understand why, or what's going on with this, but here are the facts, and here is the picture showing it as such. Rick

shipping is calculated once you enter in your shipping and payment method for it to be accurate. Entering the payment method does not commit the payment at that time. You can also create your own account on there so you don't have to enter it all in again
