Sorry about your dissatisfaction. We've had issues with keeping stock with high demand and have been considering raising our prices to match demand. We've actually had dealers and other customers ask us several times the price in disbelief, and one dealer actually suggested we should raise our prices to match the times, but we've not. our overhead and acquisition costs get higher, so our profit gets smaller. We've also been having serious delays in containers coming over because of government regulations and delays with them. That being said, there is no real excuse for being out of stock. In an effort to save costs and keep our prices low and unchanged for well over 3 years now, we've retained our old tech website that doesn't have the bells and whistles like newer, more expensive websites, so it doesn't calculate shipping very well, and doesn't have an inventory function to know that we're out of stock on something. We're doing our best, and the enormous growth in customer base must mean we're doing something right. We do accept Paypal, Visa, AMEX, Discover, MC, cash and even money orders. All can be refunded immediately, even if Paypal. Simply reply to the email you got from shipping asking for a refund instead of waiting on our restock in a week or two, or, call Shelly directly at 702-689-6035 and she will refund you while you're on the phone with her. Tell her Rick on the forum sent you, but that shouldn't be necessary. We run a well established, reputable company and we'll be around for many more years to come. We've got no reason to keep anyones money, and everyone, including us, would very much rather send you the product that is ordered as everyone wins.

Just for informational purposes, and I'm not defending the Ebay seller, especially one that claims the part was lost and won't refund, but titanium is a brittle material and would not make for a good spring. what is meant by titanium valve springs is that they are titanium oxide coated on spring steel, hence the color it shows. You may have actually gotten what you paid for. a pure titanium spring would not only break very quickly, but that amount of material would cost hundreds of dollars, at wholesale cost. just FYI!

Yeah, I ride a Piaggio myself after I blew up my TGB a while back....again. It's a little big, 500cc, but still gets OK mileage. Even though I own alot of motorcycles I prefer the scooter around town as it's much cooler in the summer, quieter, no clutch or shifting, more packing room, and not putting wear and tear on my bikes for stop and go traffic. Aprilia is a good brand. I own an Aprilia dirt bike and it is awesomely fast. Anyway, there are a couple of 200cc engines that were returned because of simple things like bent oil coolers, or damaged belt covers, but you could get a really good deal on one and spend alot less on it than getting a new one. The next load is going to be huge for the summer so we don't run out. I'd like to sell you one of those engines before they are gone, so first one's to call Shelly in the office and tell her Rick Main on ScootDawg says so, they will get the 25% discount and free shipping on the remaining shipping damaged 200cc engines. First come, first serve!

I'm not there to inspect the engine myself, but it looks like the exhaust valve came loose and got chewed up by the piston and head. Likely the spring clips came off. Was this worked on by someone in the past? How many miles did it have on it?
