Please note that in the description it says: "these are no longer available anywhere" These have not been in production for quite some time now. We bought the last remaining inventory from the factory and sold out of them before they even arrived here. The JOG90 is on backorder right now also, and will likely be sold out before they arrived as there is a waiting list for them. 2strokes are being phased out by manufacturers because of more stringent emissions requirements and warranty issues as amateur 2stroke owners often burn them up. it's a niche market the factories or dealers are not will to chance when they can sell 4strokes instead. I'd recommend building an engine with our aluminum BBK, chamber, carb, etc. Give Shelly a call or email service@scrappydogscooters.com or 702-689-6035 MO! at tech@scrappydogscooters.com can help with tech questions and is free of charge. We're currently looking for more remaining inventory as demand is high. We are also starting our new custom build program here where you can order a custom built engine with or without core, built to your own specs. Our custom builder is an expert in 2strokes.

I agree with Matt. Putting a standard chinese gy6 to replace a good quality korean Kymco would be a mistake. Sure, it's easier to find parts for the gy6, but with the Kymco, you probably won't need to find parts, period. I ride an Italian Piaggio, and have done nothing to it but ride the heck out if it basically. We have been asked for BBK's, perf ignitions and such for the Kymco and i think we may be able to stock performance and standard parts for the Kymco by spring though. Keep ya posted. Rick

Don't you think something like that should be posted on the home page in big bold red letters so its easily found and read. Not everyone uses facebook or even knew that news like that is only available via facebook. Nothing on the site says see our facebook page for news and updates. Even a phone recording would work. That way we know its safe to still buy from you. Some company's randomly go out of business without notice and will still have the website open and collecting money. A month is a long time Yes, Facebook is posted on our home page with the title "get updates and holiday closures, etc" It also comes up on the first google search page. Facebook is pretty common for live updates with companies as it's so convenient and easy to change and follow, whereas changing the website is involved, so it usually lags behind. Shelly should have left a holiday recording on the phones like she does every year when we close this time. I'll ask her tomorrow, and be sure and say something if you call too. We've been in business for 5 years now, which is a long time for chinese scooter parts. I think there were very few companies around then, like PFS and MRP. Anyways, we have a very stable corporate structure with no debt and several other support companies, so we're not the normal fly by night, here today, gone tomorrow type of garage company you see online and Ebay especially who take your money, then close down and pop back up somewhere else under a different name. Thanks for the suggestions, and especially catching the wrong date. Sorry! Happy new year. Back to work now....

Just so everyone knows, we have a facebook page which shows updates like holiday closures, new parts, tips, etc. The website is open 24/7, however, our phone center and public showroom are closed for a much needed break for Xmas. The phones open back up on Monday Dec. 30th. USPS has limited service on saturdays, and sunday they are closed, and have had closures and delays themselves during the holidays. We've been adding alot of parts and are adding dozens more over the next week or two which include scooter accessories and apparel. I'll post this in our vendor column too. I know you do scrappy, however, I tried to call yesterday so I could have one shipped 2 day, but nobody answered my calls. As 2 day shipping is not an option unless you call. I would go with the BBK if i had the money, right now it's all about getting the thing to run so I can make money. The only issue lies with the fact that my scooter doesn't run the 39mm piston. It runs the 44mm piston. The website testedscooterparts.com however does not have that kind of piston. Lucky for me, and anybody else trying to replace stock parts, I found a website that has all the 139qmb parts in stock. I will be going to the BBK kit eventually, but for now I just want my trike to get me to work..lol. Here is the website for the stock parts. www.scrappydogscooters.com/I ordered my crankcase from them and paid for the 2 day shipping and got it exactly when I was told I would have it. BUT the only problem is when you order and you need it faster than 5-7 biz days, you need to call them and they can ship things 2 days for a fairly hefty addition, but when you need the part, you need the part. Also, the piston was black around the area between the wrist pin and the rings, and one of the ring seperators between the two top rings literally broke off the piston. Thankfully it did no scar up the cylinder so all should be well with a new piston kit. One last thing, what is the proper spark plug gap? The manual I have says .6 but thats 6x bigger than your average gapper goes, so obviously is wrong. Its a crap chinese manual and they must run chinese metrics or something..lol...I would assume manybe .06 but I would like to know what other people have gapped theirs to since obviously these manuals I paid for are crap for the most part. FYI, we've stocked the 44mm top end kit for Peace and other type scooters for a couple of years now at this link: www.scrappydogscooters.com/Replacement_Parts.html

Ouch Petrol42! I certainly didn't intend for you to get so mad about a part on a scooter that burned to the ground almost a year ago! You had also taken several days to reply to my response, so I didn't think this was something absolutely imperitive to reply to instantaneously. I had thought that Matt at PFS in his posting had answered your question about your Zhen. I'm in contact with Matt about getting one of those exhausts, and also a Zhen scooter so that I can inspect and learn from it. We can't just change listing postings based on one persons testimony that it doesn't work as we've sold 1000's of these exhausts over many years without that complaint. There are many people that do not know the proper method of installing a part, like an exhaust. There is a procedure to putting it on, otherwise it looks like it doesn't fit. Until we get a collection of complaints and/or we actually bring in the specific brand and model and inspect it ourselves, we keep our original posting. My personal experience is that the Zhen was a dual shock model, and I think Matt said that the Zhen was an anomoly B. Anomoly B can fit many standard parts, but some do not, like the exhausts. We also post this in our tech talk page posted on our website. I hope you understand, and you are certainly welcome to call or email us for further resolution and not just public bashing which accomplishes nothing positive. I'd have to say that our return policy is very fair. If the exhaust didn't fit, we have never refused a return and refund on anything non-electrical. I'm curious why this has been brought up almost a year later and with such anger? My intent was to resolve the issue and not to anger, insult, or ignore you. So sorry!

I'd like to correct any issues regarding this. I had a Zhen classic in the shop a while back and I thought that it was a dual shock rear end? Ours and every other vendors exhausts only fit single shock rear ends. I have not yet sourced an exhaust for the dual shock models, nor the gy6-B anomoly engines that Zhen seems to use commonly. Our posting states for single shock rear ends only, without modification. I have mounted one to a dual shock model, but there was some bending involved. Please confirm what you have, and please post a picture of both sides of your scoot. Your engine code would be helpful too. I posted this publicly so that others may share in this knowledge. Rick
