So, got it apart, and this is what I found. I'm looking to just get a new engine at this point, and would like some feedback, if anyone has any. Scrappydog has a 200cc engine for $475.00 or a exact replacement for $399.00. Any ideas are welcomed. Attachments:

Hmmmm Verryyyy IInntarasting How the did it get that bad? I'm surprised it was anywhere near running to get that bad But, a little gorilla glue and duct tape should fix it up just fine.
Ot, just get the 200 for 475.00
Can't wait for the next update

Ok, stator? How do I check to see how many "poles" i have? So far, I have 115 jet, 200cc motor, and one ngk spark plug. If anyone has anything else I should get to make this as trouble free as possible please let me know. And yes, I thought about some gorilla glue, and a lot of sea foam...

You will have to take the Flywheel off to see how many poles your current stator has. Alleyoop

I'm not there to inspect the engine myself, but it looks like the exhaust valve came loose and got chewed up by the piston and head. Likely the spring clips came off. Was this worked on by someone in the past? How many miles did it have on it?

I have done all the routine maintenance on it myself. The scooter has 4500 miles, on it, and it never left me stranded. And yes, that's exactly what happened to the valve. I spoke with someone from your place on Thursday regarding the 200cc (170cc) big bore complete engine, but she said you had two that were broken/defective, and wouldn't be getting any in till the middle of April. It has given me time to think about my options, and I'm beginning to lean toward a new Aprilia 200cc. This scoot was intended to see if I like riding them and what not, which I do, but I would also like something better built. I'm a "spend the money" and get what I want kind of person. I know there are no guarantees, but with the track record and being water cooled it should go well over 20,000 miles. Thanks to all who have helped.

Yeah, I ride a Piaggio myself after I blew up my TGB a while back....again. It's a little big, 500cc, but still gets OK mileage. Even though I own alot of motorcycles I prefer the scooter around town as it's much cooler in the summer, quieter, no clutch or shifting, more packing room, and not putting wear and tear on my bikes for stop and go traffic. Aprilia is a good brand. I own an Aprilia dirt bike and it is awesomely fast. Anyway, there are a couple of 200cc engines that were returned because of simple things like bent oil coolers, or damaged belt covers, but you could get a really good deal on one and spend alot less on it than getting a new one. The next load is going to be huge for the summer so we don't run out. I'd like to sell you one of those engines before they are gone, so first one's to call Shelly in the office and tell her Rick Main on ScootDawg says so, they will get the 25% discount and free shipping on the remaining shipping damaged 200cc engines. First come, first serve!

Well I decided to go ahead and get the 200cc (170cc) from scrappy's. I'm having a guy put it in, and now we have a slight problem. I told him to remove the emissions stuff, Ca. bike, and now we are not sure where/what hoses attach where at the carb? the only one we know for sure is the fuel line. Also, there is a hose that is wrapped in wire, about a foot or so in length, and he's not sure where it came from and if it's needed. So basically, I need to know what vacuum hoses go where, and what needs to be capped/re-routed. Air box is gone, and is now just a uni to the carb. We were able to get it started via starter fluid, and the motor sounds good and strong.
