its not that you want it to vent if that were the case just take the shroud off. you want air flow around the engine and the fan is the only thing causing the airflow unless you also use a scoop. sofar the stock fans are the best. the racing fans throw less air around the engine , no way around it or sofar noway to make the racing fans as usefull as the stock fan. the only thing i can think of isto remove the stock fan completely and hookup an electic fan that can fit inside of an airscoop. no drag less weight on the engine.

I don't need the fan my scoot runs great but i would test the hi pro fan and give an honest opinion
