I have had success in purchasing from SDS. All of the engine parts worked out well. I ordered some "Handsome Boy" chassis parts that did not fit my 2013 Taotao CY50-A, and they simply asked me to return them. Will buy from them again, although email communication leaves a bit to be desired.

Will buy from them again, although email communication leaves a bit to be desired. I just had a site special order a body part I needed, that wasn't in stock. It worked out nicely. Hopefully they can do that for you, if they haven't. Actually SDS had the part I wanted, but it was black-- my scoot is the handsome boy style as well. Probably should have emailed them if they had the body panel in silver, me of course. Found one in silver at another site, but wasn't in stock--- emailed me and told me. I had to wait a little longer for obvious reasons(they had to order it from their parts supplier). Not taking anything away from Scrappy at all--- I love AND have ordered from nearly all the supporters of this site, in the banner at the top of your screen. I'd love to order from just one place, but feel the need to share the love. I hope you find/found your part.

Sorry you had a bad experience 150mad, maybe it was your attitude. Are you mad at your 150 or just mad at the world in general? I've ordered twice now from SD and had no problems (even when I screwed up an order, they did right by me). And EXTREMELY fast shipping. C'est La Vie

No store, online or not, is perfect. Everywhere I shop I've had an issue at some point. To me, the places that stand out are the ones that, when there is a problem, they take care of it the best that they can. Those are the places that get my money.

I live in Vegas, and I went to ScrappyDogScooters to purchase my BBK. They were still in the middle of moving into their new location, but still took the time to answer all my questions, and threw in a free pilot jet and main jet. Have been very pleased with my purchase from ScrappyDogScooters, and will be going back for more parts as I need them!

I have been` dealing with Scrappy for many years. When I had an issue with a set of sliders being BO they even sent me an extra set when they came in.
They hay been great an as long as I own and work on scooters I will buy from Scrappy Dogs.

I was in the market for a performance exhaust for my Znen Classic and ordered one from Scrappy Dog because their website states "Short slash cut, shark tip, stainless exhaust system for your short case 125/150. Exhaust canister is 340mm long (under 14in) and would look great on a retro type scoot. Works with both clamp-on and engine tab mounts for single shock systemsLimited introductory rate"
This description I read was exactly what I was looking for and nowhere did the description state that the exhaust my have to be modified to fit.
Upon receiving the exhaust and trying to install it, the Header was hitting the bottom of the fan shroud and there was no way that I could even bolt it down. Also, the total length of the muffler including the tip is around 17 inches. The 14 inch length is for the canister only but this doesn't help a consumer who is looking for a muffler's overall length to be a particular size.
I emailed them but didn't get a response until 3 days later but leading up to my response from Scrappy Dog, I had posted my problem on ScootDawg when it was still active. It turned into a long ugly thread that you could probably still find as my user name is the same on that site as it is on this one.
In the end, I emailed them and ask that they change the description on their website as it's misleading and modification is definitely required. To this day, the description still reads the same as the quote describing the exhaust that I quoted earlier.
I had read on this forum where someone else had bought an exhaust from Scrappy Dog and his header wouldn't clear the bottom of the engine just like it was doing on mine. He called Scrappy Dog about the problem and asked for a new header and the person from Scrappy Dog told him that all their headers are the same. That means that they have a boatload of these headers that their selling to the public.
I had ordered a few things from Scrappy before my exhaust incident and I was satisfied with them. I should've sent the exhaust back when I found out it didn't fit but I would've had to pay for return shipping. Due to the totally inaccurate description of the exhaust and the description still being the same today, I've since moved on to other vendors for stuff.

I'd like to correct any issues regarding this. I had a Zhen classic in the shop a while back and I thought that it was a dual shock rear end? Ours and every other vendors exhausts only fit single shock rear ends. I have not yet sourced an exhaust for the dual shock models, nor the gy6-B anomoly engines that Zhen seems to use commonly. Our posting states for single shock rear ends only, without modification. I have mounted one to a dual shock model, but there was some bending involved. Please confirm what you have, and please post a picture of both sides of your scoot. Your engine code would be helpful too. I posted this publicly so that others may share in this knowledge. Rick
