The factory enricher is a waste of time IMO,,they should have just put a normal manual butterfly choke on these..the enricher does little to nothing when its below 30 degrees,,times like that need some real fuel supply.

Ive had no problems ever with valve stems dry rotting,,I always soak them in a good silicone spray like black magic,,do the same with my wiper blades on my pup and they last a long time, its amazing how long rubber will last if you maintain it

Its dangerous to be in a tractor trailer on the interstate as well,,if you cant do the speed limit in the right lane you dont belong there to begin with..

As long as the rubber on the tire is soft and not dry rotted you can run a tire more than two years..been doing it for over 30 years now with no issues...but if you ride like a man,,your tires should be spent within two years..lol

Thanks for the pic/diagram,,great for people who cant read a schemo.. Looks good to me..now with the added switch above,,what is the purpose of the original light switch you have there,,looks like its feeding the solenoid, and where is it getting power from,,the fuel gauge,is that correct? Tom

Well jesh,,maybe a little heat if its that stubborn..just watch the rubber boots,,but heck these parts are so cheap even if you burn up the seals using a torch at least you wont have to drill and tap..any bolt will work these aren't sport bikes..lol

If it starts up and idles good hot and cold the valves should be fine,,I set mine to .004 both,,then check them every 2K km. or so,,last time I checked them they where still good..one was .003. The valves on these GY6 motors tighten as they age with use,,so eventually they will get so tight the valve wont seat anymore and it will lose compression and wont run right or at all. If you hear a little chatter/ticking that means they are still good also..there are so many great videos on the web about adjusting the GY6 valves,,its easy..

Ive been building and riding motorcycles/scooters for over 30 years,,always broke them in like I was going to ride them(HARD) and I raced a few times,,never had any problem with this method...just might want to go a little richer on a 2 stroke for the first tank or two,,and drop the oil on a 4 stroke at 300 miles.
Hurricane Bob Hannah's mechanic Keith told my dad about this method they used for years..take a look at how Hannah broke his motors in..lol

I think his tach is off..but thats just me,,did you get a GPS speed reading,,cause 50 on a scoot feels like 70..lol
I did try 12g sliders in there geh3333,,it ran awesome,,but I like to do long hauls so keeping my R's down under 5K and loafing along at 45 is what I like..if I where to race I would run 11 or 12's in there for sure..I bet it would tach redline.

I can get about 7300 RPM at over 60 MPH,,mine cruises so sweet at 45mph under 5k rpm,,has plenty of power to pull me up the big hills,,and no BBK yet..lol
