I have a 2013 taotao that starts and runs for about 30sec and theyi it stops think it runs out of gas I think that it set for 5 or 10 mim and starts again for 30 40sec any ids alleyoop alleyoop, beachbum |

How long has it been sitting around without running. When was the last time you rode it. It is either lack of fuel and or valves are staying open after it gets hot. If the motor has not been started for a month or more I would then say the pilot jet and its tiny fuel outlets by the butterfly are clogged and it only runs off the ENRICHER when COLD. Once the Enricher shuts off the extra fuel which will happen within 5 minutes the motor will die and will not start up for anthor 5-10 minutes when the Enricher Needle Retracts and allows fuel to flow for cold starts again. IN THIS CASE FOLLOW THE CLEANING PROCEDURE in this writeup: itistheride.boards.net/thread/144/check-fuel-delivery?page=1&scrollTo=82323If on the other hand the motor has been running and you have been riding it and this just started to happen THEN I would suspect the Valves are tight and once the motor gets hot the valves are not sealing and loosing compression and the motor will die. In in this case you need to adjust the valves set them both to .003 inchs since this is a 50cc motor. If it was a 150cc motor set them both to .004 inchs. Alleyoop |

Any recent mods ? How many miles and have you kept up on the regular maintenance and adjustments ? |

Take gas cap off tank and see if it runs alright. If it does get a new gas cap or drill a breather hole in yours. |
