The only cold weather riding I do is a rip up and back the alley to see how my changes or mods work. I don't like riding far unless its sunny and ..lol..or a tee shirt at night..thats perfect riding weather

As long as you have good compression and strong spark,, from the sounds of your video I would check the pilot jet and all its ports,,then while your in there clean the main and all its ports to the throat...you got good flow to the carb inlet from the petcock right? Spark was nice and blue?

It has a small tit that rides on the camshaft and is designed to go in one direction only,,man Im surprised the little tit hasn't busted off the way this thing has kicked back..when I take mine apart next week I will take a closer look..the motor still kicks back once in a while..was just curious,,thought it was some sort of EGR related part.I dont think its a great design to have something drop into the cam and try and stop kickback. Guess if my new A10 cam doesn't have a little hole or channel for this device to lock into I will just grind the tit off and use this rocker assembly..no worries
Thanks guys!!

Big port head, bigger jug with bigger valves and bigger cam is obviously going to need more fuel and AIR...I am going to get a 30mm just to compare with my 24 this Spring,,will do some testing and find out to see how my setup likes it. These parts are so cheap if I find the smaller 24mm works better I will just sell the 30..lol..I also have a friend in Washington NJ with a dyno. Standby...

What is this for,,I don't see it on all rocker assemblies,,is it for some sort of pollution control or what?

I was looking at mine today and looks like I have plenty of room there,,we will see..I see you have a 130 main on a 30mm into a 58.5mm thats intresting,,I have a 24mm and plan on getting a 60mm BBK next week,,have a 118 main in there now but will most likely need a 125 to run it right..might eventually get a 30mm carb,,seems to me more air then meter the fuel with the main would be the way to go..i see alot of guys running bigger carbs on these with good results so Im curious now..lol

I just ordered a 60mm Taiwan BBK from him,,its got the big port head with stainless steel valves rated 12000 RPM'sI (I'll never take it over 8k),the ports on the head look really good to me,comes with everything except exhaust stud nuts for the price I figured would give it a shot,,anybody ever use their BBK's with good results?,,if not I'm about to find out..lol Here is the listing I got..A10 cam included also..couldn't beat it!! www.ebay.com/itm/171603986477?_trksid=p2059210.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

Yup,,I can put myself right over the bars on mine if I squeeze them hard enough..they work good...never liked ABS anyway,,sometimes you need to lock up a wheel to slide you out of a hairy situation..Im sure there is a mod to bypass that china Absolute Bull _hit system...

I put a fuel filter on the end of a line from my gas tank vent,,zip tied it as high as I could so it wouldn't leak all over my CVT cover..that breather on your valve cover can also go to a fuel filter and be zip tied to the frame somewhere out of the way..only vacuum line I have is to my carb from the intake,,think it goes to the ACV valve but have not looked in a while..took all the canisters and EGR crap off,,plugged all holes.
Never understood why most motors run a breather into the air cleaner,,its such a bad design,,makes for a mess everywhere and really doesn't help the environment out anymore IMO.
You can probably mount a UNI pod filter right inside that airbox if you want like i did..drilled a few holes, then jetted..runs like an ape!

Standard long case 157qmj,,great price,,i saw one for $400 with no compression other day real nice shape,,almost bought it,,but I want to save up for a maddog 150 with the 205 rear tire man,,they are bada$$ looking!!
Alot of times people give these away because they lose compression due to the valves becoming too tight and not seating,,very easy fix..also a leak down test will help spot where the issue is if it has low compression..listen for air from exhaust, intake,or crankcase.
None the less Nice find brother!!!

Hey Alley,, Is there a way to bypass that pump on a 50cc,,never worked on a 50 ? Looks like its part of the tank plug,,maybe if he takes the diaphragm out and plugs the vacuum port? That would only be sufficient if he has a down hill feed or gravity run from tank to carb inlet...reason being I never had any luck with those petcocks.
