Gotta love the slow boat from china....I got a nice 200 amp panel meter and shunt from China for my 130 amp DC supply I built out of a dell computer server supply. The meter and shunt work as they should,,cant beat the price from china.
Sorry for the derail,,back on topic please...

Depends on how its tapped..I see it.Just like my transformer in my AL 80B Linear amp,,I can tap it to run 28kv-35kv just by moving some wires around on the jumper board..

I was looking to upgrade my intake manifold,,the clamp is getting worn out along with the rubber.I was told that a performance intake manifold would not fit through my crossbar using my 24mm stock carb. Is there really any benefit to running a better manifold with a stock jetted carb or should I just use the rubber OEM manifold? If so,,anybody know of a good replacement for this? I am in the process of getting a better head for my stock jug,,I figure bigger valves,an A9 cam,and possibly a bigger main jet for a bit more power. Just need some advice on the intake manifold/crossbar issue. I dont want to do a BBK this motor runs so strong as is,,and I heard alot of stories with the BBK's causing problems down the road. When the time comes I am going to do a 200 or 232 with bored case,,make it worth wild atleast..never saw any sense just going up 10 or so cc's..lol Thanks!! Tom

Fuel in the vacuum line would be from way too much fuel going into the motor from to big of a main jet or improper set floats thus the line will suck up some of that extra fuel..moisture well maybe from running in wet conditions...only other way fuel will get into the vac line is if something goes wrong with the petcock housing or diaphragm my guess..

Yeah,, I really cant say mine is popping on decel but its more like a rumble of seperate BRAT sounds that are different levels..too me it sounds like a darn racing Briggs..lol..its running so good Im afraid to do a BBK on it...there is no reason a stock block and head cant push taller gears if tuned right IMO.Im 180lbs and it pulls me along just fine.
Maybe hes got the chain one tooth off on the timing?? Would it still run with one tooth off??
