My scooter's run full wide open throttle like % of their life after 300 mile's (when i consider it broken in) it's a fun, short life at WOT it appear's i seem to average about 2800 miles per base model Cast iron big bore kit 1E40QMB 2 Stroke but those mile's sure are Fun ! got my 2004 Eton beamer pn2 with above engine, up to 62mph with a # main jet, Standard chamber style exhaust pipe, and a 72cc big bore kit off ebay for like 69$ i'm sure someone will try to call B.S but i stand by my word that scooter blazed!

i will take those photos asap
also i bought a camera, so it will not appear to be taken by a calculator this time hehe
just getting over this pneumonia, riding a scooter can become a challenge when you have a temp of 105

Hey all! photo's of finished install coming tonight when it get's dark enough to run the lights! here's the drop installed on a 2005 Adly panther 50cc/70cc two stroke replaced those old stock crap bulbs with some of these Optronics High Performance Driving Lights - QH-82CF/NV-550B that i bought from my local Advanced Auto parts store for under 25$ the kit comes with two lamps, in a housing with their own mounting brackets a red led lit rocker switch, wiring harness with inline fuse and two 12v 55w halogen bulbs i removed the halogen bulbs from their housing/mounting bracket's and installed them in place of the old bulbs, by stripping off the male connectors on the bike's end as well as the male connectors on the bulbs end and hard wired them i also removed the inline fuse and hard wired the rocker switch in i have tested it already and everything is going great just waiting to take video and photo tonight when it gets dark here is a link to the bulb kit i bought shop.advanceautoparts.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_high-performance-driving-lights-optronics_6251773-p

A question asked by many
what would be the best way to break in a new 1e40qmb 70cc Two Stroke big bore kit be ?
i have been taking her easy
not exceeding 18 mph keeping below 6000 rpm playing with throttle/rpm while riding not allowing more than 2 minutes of idle time when ever possible burning extra oil in gas tank stacked with oil injection for first tank of gas
how long should i do this? am i doing it correctly ? is there a better faster and or safer way to go about break in ?
i have read across a few forms and have seen dozens of recommended way's
one of witch, and seemingly the most scary is the ''hard break in'' :
warm the bike up upon first start for around 10-15 minutes shut it down wait 25 minutes
start it back up ride 5 miles not passing 20 mph, shut it down wait 25 minutes
start it up and ripp up the road at high rpm's to break in the piston...
i am not sure the above method would be effective or what the after break in life span of the top end would be after such a harsh break in
how ever it doe's seem to be the fastest.
Does anyone know any other methods?

The below set of pictures is from an Eton Beamer PN2 model 2004 2 Stroke 1e40qmb all stock with chamber pipe exhaust 5800 miles before Catastrophic Failure got this scooter as a trade for a broke down car, with a guy i met off craigslist got her at around 3400ish miles if i remember correctly and completely BEAT it until it died , did 50mph stock with chamber pipe, i would take it for 400+ mile ride's with out breaks just for fun

I'd recommend building an engine with our aluminum BBK, chamber, carb, etc. this was actually my original plan, plus performance clutch, roller weights, clutch / torque springs and an unrestricted CDI as well as a few other items! and i figured the jog 100 might be out due to the wording, how ever i did not expect a back order on the jog suppose it makes sense though Cheaper to buy a jog 100/jog90 than to build up a performance 70cc/72c scoot i was considering a 100cc kit, the ones with the cam, larger variater, and longer stroke ect how ever i am hesitating because i've never done those installs and would have to do alot of surfing on how to's Was cool to see your response i certainly did not expect to get a response straight from the source!

If so - I would like to know how well built is the engine? what speeds could i expect to see after break in ? What manufacturer builds/assembles these engines? Did everything work out of the box? If swapping from a 50cc or 70cc/80cc did you encounter clearance issues or require a new CDI or other replacement parts due to incompatibility? Overall would you say the engine was worth the asking price? would you Recommend me to buy one? also any other input is Welcomed

Once again i am happy to have read another one of your always awesome post's! i am very thankful you added this info as i did not realize that i had access to this grade of gasoline i've been running with Octane with ethanol 15 Clearwater VP RACING 100 110 7 Days Lp Gas 1400 N Hercules Ave this will be awesome seeing as though i just ordered a new cheapo big bore kit for my adly better to run higher grade gas and oil with a questionable quality cylinder and piston or at least that is my Simi-educated assumption EDIT: Instant bad new's google maps street view shows an empty closed down station with no pumps looks like i will be using grade, at least it is ethanol free!
