sliders work ever better your goal is to reach top speed with rpms being no more than 8000 to 8500 rpms

i have used alot of the over sized variators and they work well and will help top end speed i have learned on most bikes a heavy roller work best like 7 or 8 gram to get full top speed

the mods i did to both my 150 are 112 main jet free flow air filter a9 racing cam blue racing cdi red hot coil free flow muffler big variator racing clutch kevlar belt 1 has 15 gram sliders and the other has a mix 13 and 15 gram sliders and they both do 65 easy gps one tops out at 68mph and the other between 70 75 mph gps i pass cars on local hwy with 60mph speed limit. lots of time consuming tweaking

what about vac lines have you checked them for holes and conections. and the intake gasket the black piece under the intake for cracks and that lil rubber seal on bottom of intake and on bottom of intake gasket are there and in good cond.. is the fuel control valve working right.

if you go heavier spring keep heavy weights. i would just change the weights down one size and i would do sliders much better than rollers. the yellow spring on a 150 s not so great i tried it and took it rt back out it killed my top end. now on a stock 50cc they work great. just my 2 cent

maybe use a peice of duct tape to hold it in by running it only across where the bendix are taping it to the case on each side after you have started and removed the cover if it a 50cc a 150 will start and run without the cover on .
