This attached pic is the variator im looking into getting. Has anyone used it? If so with a slightly modded rig( performance CDI, Ignition Coil, 20mm CVK Carb) will it give it anymore speed? If so which gram slidders do I need to get with it? They come in 4,5, and 6 Attachments:

i have used alot of the over sized variators and they work well and will help top end speed i have learned on most bikes a heavy roller work best like 7 or 8 gram to get full top speed

sliders work ever better your goal is to reach top speed with rpms being no more than 8000 to 8500 rpms

Just be careful if the belt travels up to the edge of the variator The BENDIX is right there and eats up your belts. Alleyoop

a yellow spring seems to fix that as long as you dont hold wot down big hills.

I have the same variator with 5 gram sliders in it and it performs fantastic. Plenty of pull and good top end can maintain 45+ on flat ground without WOT.I do however have other mods.(read signature)
