I need the advice of some of you veteran mods that have years experience tuning scoots..I'v ordered a brand new powermax 150 and I'm aiming at 60-62 cruising speeds around 7200rpm with decent acceleration, I know it'll be harder on my engine and no I can't afford a 250 but any helpful advice will be much appreciated so I can have parts ordered by time my 150 arrives. Here is what I am working with so far..
All stock except 16'36 ncy gears, blue cdi, Orange coil, and 835 belt. 120/70/12 stock tires
What mods should I make as in..
Tire size? Which variator to upgrade to? What size slider weights?..(I think it comes w stock 13g) Clutch springs? Bigger carb and or jet size? Free flow air filter? Adjust valves to.004?
These are the things I can afford that I plan to change but only what's necessary to achieve my desired speed/acceleration/rpms, so like I said any helpful advice on what I only essentially need to change so I can order and have my performance parts here to upgrade when my scooter arrives and any and all advice is much appreciated! Thanks!

I haven't gps mine yet but it goes over 70 on the speedo so i know i'm at least getting over 60 mph not broke in yet either. I rode it stock and it's way faster after i put in the 60mm kit and other mods listed in my signature

Ok so let me take that back, they didn't have the powermax in stock so they upgraded me to the cy150-D (Tao Tao Lancer) which has 130/60/13 tires instead of the 12's. So which tire upgrade along with the others I talked about, and any experience with these new scooters? Did I make a good choice on taking this instead of the powermax or was it a good deal?

I would forget the whole tired upgrade thing. You're not going to gain anything from that. If you want any real gain you are going to need a BBK. I know you said "So which tire upgrade along with the others I talked about" but it doesn't quite work that way.

I would agree with PCB_GY6'n. The TaoTao's pretty much come tuned out of the factory. The only 2 things you can do to squeeze out more power is make sure the tires are at least 38PSI hard, and fuel up with BP Premium fuel. You could also change the rollers/sliders to fit your riding pattern (eg: if you're an easy rider, riding mostly calm and laid back, increasing the rollers/sliders weight might benefit your MPG, as it will lower RPM. If you're a sporty rider, decreasing them (to accelerate at 7k RPM instead of 4, 5, or 6k RPM) might benefit you.
Other than that, you'll need a BBK. Once you install a BBK, it would be prudent over time to adjust the rollers, change the belt, adjust clutch tension, put bigger air intake, free flow exhaust, and rejet etc... You could just install a BBK on a stock bike, and see a 75% improvement compared to 100% improvement you get when you would install the BBK with all the optional accessories installed (like uni air filter, free flow exhaust, ....).
But really, would you want to spend another $500 to $800 on upgrades, on an $800 bike?

So what would be the best things to start with going with the combo that I already have?..16'36 gears, uni filter, blue cdi, Orange coil...and what size slider should I start with? I also have an a9 cam I bought for my 50cc, Will it work on my 150?

The a9 cam will not work on a 150 I don't think. I wouldn't worry about doing a gear change unless you're going to do a BBK. You may get a small gain from adding the uni, coil and CDI but it's not going to be enough to make a big difference. You maybe be able to get a top end gain out of a heavier slider but you will lose power on the bottom end more then likely. Again, for what you are trying to spend on all of the other parts you can get a BBK and get the gain you are looking for. It's makes it hard on people to give you advice if you keep giving us limits on what you're willing to do. You're wanting a noticeable gain without putting in the time or money and you can't have it both ways.

Changing gear ratio for top end on a scoot without a bbk in many cases will noy help much. U need to install a bbk and focus on airflow throughout the engine. Also a hp clutch and variator will help for takoff and mid range.

I was told on this forum a while back that a 50cc A9 will not work in a 150.
