The Toyotas racing NASCAR have racked up plenty of wins. The Toyota racing engine is loosely based on a pushrod limousine engine.

The high dollar pick up trucks can do amazing things. Nomadic construction workers tow their RV trailers to live near the site until the project ends.
I don't think the 2020 Corvette will disappoint anybody when it comes to performance. Chevy will never go back to producing cruisers like my old 185 hp Corvette. A lot of four bangers make that much power now without a turbo.

We rode both scoots to get state safety inspections this weekend. Now we can finally get plates renewed and rejoin the ranks of the street legal. Weather and other obligations prevented us from getting safety inspections on time.

You have probably heard by now that the 2020 Vette will have the engine mounted behind the driver. Chevy has built several mid-engine prototypes since the first middy in 1964, but it is finally coming to production. -Does this put the Corvette on par with Ferraris and Lamborghinis? Probably not, but the base price of the Vette will be below 60 grand. -I have never driven a mid-engined car. My Corvette days ended in the 1990s. -I think I still prefer a front engine car with a long, low hood. www.motor1.com/news/258428/mid-engined-corvette-everything-we-know/

The Honda X-ADX adventure scoot won the 600-950cc class at this years Gilbralter Rally. Its a big deal, because because that class was made up of mostly motorcycles, like KTM. The article at the link gives the false impression that the X-ADV was the overall winner. The Gilbraltar Rally course ran from the Baltic Sea to the Atlantic this year, over a paved course. advrider.com/what-honda-x-adv-scooter-wins-2019-gibraltar-rally/

Looks bigger than a 250, doesn't it. 4 valve engine sounds sweet.

Performance CDI usually does not have a rev limiter, so watch your rpm if you install one. -After adding an orange CDI, coil and plug wire, my scoot was more responsive and was slightly stronger on the top end (maybe 1 or 2 mph). -My scoot already had a bigger main jet and performance exhaust when I added the orange ignition parts. -of all the above mods, the ignition and new jet were under 50 bucks. The exhaust will be at least 100 bucks.

Over the weekend, four consecutive utility poles were snapped by a small isolated thunderstorm in a neighboring small town. There were no big trees blown onto the power poles. The wind alone snapped these poles. Don't try to ride out a little thunderstorm on yours scoot. Some of the small storms pack huge power.

I too, must question the wisdom if introducing a new scoot into that very crowded 125-150cc segment. The existing Genuine 170i or 220 Blur engine have been more appealing. Seems like Genuine wants to simply re-invent the Stella.

"Maginot line held,"
Yes, but there was that little flanking movement through the Ardennes Forest, ultimately resulting in the fall of Paris. I wonder if Belgium would have allowed France to extend the Maginot line across their nation to the North Sea, if asked ?
-All walls are breached, eventually; Great Wall of China, Hadrians Wall, Berlin Wall, Constantinople, etc.
After letting my mind wander a bit, I agree with the Maginot Wall.

Ironically, I credit Raquel Welch with helping to curb Male chauvinism. The song about "I can bring home the bacon, fry it up in the pan, and never let you forget whose the man.,, " had been performed many times over the years. Men finally took notice when Raquel Welch performed it.
