Hello everyone... I travel from Missouri to the island of Crete each summer (I'm there now). Four years ago I bought a 2008 "Faspider" (a.k.a. "FMM") Chinese 150 cc four-stroke scooter. Other than the dash, it's identical to a Garelli City Four. Not super-fast with 9 bhp, but it only cost me 800 Euro (around $1k at the time) with 6400 km. Cretan roads rarely give an opportunity to go over 45 mph anyway Now I'm up around 9000 km and it has been relatively trouble-free... until now. Rust in the gas tank from last winter (VERY wet and cold, unusually) has caused major fuel system problems... I replaced the pump, filter and injector since there was rust all through the system, even downstream of the filter. Repaired the filter sock which had a split in it. De-rusted the gas tank with gravel, hot water and detergent, then a 2-day soak in Coca-cola to convert any remaining rust to phosphate, and another good clean. However - the fuel pressure regulator is also blocked with rust so it floods (and now won't run at all unless I pull the plug from the injector - then it'll run for a few seconds and sputter to a halt). The FPR is not sold separately and I don't know what the stock pressure is (maybe 2.5 bar, or 3 bar?) And the entire pump assembly is 276 Euro, which I'd be willing to pay - but the only place I can find one is in Italy (cramsas.it) and they only sell within Italy! Anyhow, I'll be here for another month and if anyone knows where I can get a Garelli GA09615 pump assembly, or even just an FPR, that would be great. Thanks! -Charles

sounds like a good fuel treatment is needed there for sure. Is there not a auto supply dealer there?
