You can take the black/white wire loose from the CDI plug and bypass the kill switch.

It depends on whether the splines and length of the output shaft match with the dimensions on the wheel.

The ones that Alleyoop marked as not being used are there to hook water lines to. Some scooters use them and some don't. Had something to do with preventing carb icing by circulating hot water through carb passages to warm and keep the interior of the carb from freezing up under certain conditions.

I know you said it is stamped 157QMJ but look at the engine and the position of the kick start lever. That is a 139QMB style motor. I don't think it can be punched out to 150cc's can it? Regardless, that's one sharp looking machine!

Rodney is more macho. He's made it with more women than Spock has. I don't find making it with a lot of women all that manly more boyish, I'm certain my wife would agree. And I'm certain your wife gave you permission to say that. Just Kidding. The OP didn't ask who was more manly. He asked who was more macho. Big difference! Anyway, this is just supposed to be a light humor thread.

US Air Force used water injection systems in some of their older B-52's and KC-135's (the ones that used straight jet engines as opposed to turbo-fan engines) to provide more power during the takeoff roll. They would use them when the ambient temperature was above a certain degree. It made the air entering the engine intakes more dense. More dense = more oxygen by volume. That boosted the power output for takeoff. Of course the engines were able to pull more fuel through them when the systems were used to complement the denser air.

Larger size carb will increase air flow. Using the same size jets will cause it to run lean. Use an 18mm as a replacement unless you are going to up the displacement to a large degree. IMHO

It should be a CV style carb. If the throttle cable attaches on the side of the carb it is a CV type. If the throttle cable to the top center of the carb it is a Slide style.

The engine is a clone of the one they use on the Rebel. The body style is a copy of the Suzuki GZ250.
So far I really do like it. ((* I used to ride cycles years ago before I transitioned to scooters. I forgot how much I missed them!

Thanks guys. She said it wouldn't start one day so it just sat in her garage. She couldn't get a local area shop to work on it because it was a Chinese bike. So it just sat there. I saw it pop up on Craigslist about 4 weeks ago for $500 but apparently no one wanted to risk it. Was re-posted 2 weeks later so I made contact and made the deal. So far it is turning out well. ((*
The deals are out there. Just have to have patience and keep a few extra bucks laying around to jump on them. ^)

Came across a Craigslist deal I couldn't refuse. A 2007 Baja Motorsports Phoenix motorcycle. Been sitting in this gal's garage for the last three years or so. Only had 161 miles on it. She said her boyfriend could get it to fire with starting fluid but it wouldn't run. $300.00 and it was all mine. They had put a new battery in it so all I did was charge it up, clean the carb, fill with new gas and changed the oil. Fired right up. I'm going to take the carb off and clean it again as it doesn't want to idle without a little choke on. Even with that it is running strong. It has the cloned Honda 234cc parallel twin and the body is a clone of the Suzuki GZ250. I was surprised at how well it rides. At 60 indicated it feels so much more stable than either my 150 or 250 scooter. At 50 the speedometer is only off by 3 MPH. (50 indicated = 47 actual) This picture was taken on my inaugural ride, taking advantage of the last of the sunshine up here before the rain sets in for the year. Attachments:
