Yes you have an A/C set up, most all scooters are set up this way unless they have EFI like the new Zuma it's DC.

Thanks Leo, The bike i have would fit a rider that is 6' tall with no problem with the 12" wheels. I had to lower the rear suspension to fit me (5' 6") and it's just right.

The Buddys and Roughhouse 50cc scooters are still 2 stroke. Yamaha went to a 4 stroke.

What Kat said. But you can get the Battery Tender Jr at walmart for around $30.00 and the "tail thing" Kat is talking about is a quick connect on your battery so that you can plug and go. A snap to install if you choose to do so. I think you will find most all of us (and on other scooter boards like this one) would Highly recommend getting one due to the fact it is - "set it and forget it" and your good to go. This is a link to walmart and looks to be a better price then the one i seen at the store and as long as shipping is free then i would buy online and comes with a 'Kat tail ©' www.walmart.com/ip/Battery-Tender-Junior-Charger/15779492?reviews_limit=10&Hm. My BT Jr didn't come with the jumper cable-looking clamps. I was robbed! And yeah, quick connect. I remember now that's what the dealer called it. Not a tail thing © (see? I can copyright my 'Katisms too, although I give y'alles permission to use them--but with care ) Also, my memory now that I'm more awake is telling me the tender plus installation was $50, 'cause I remember Dad sending me a $50 bill in the mail to cover it (was my b'day prezzie that year) (yes my Dad is awesome) (but also lucky when he foolishly sends cash USPS) >'Kat I think my 'tail thing ©' got a 'Kat bite ©' And i was just trying to be nice. Anyway this is a detailed unbox video for the Battery Tender Junior and how to install. (scooter install is just as easy)

I have a Battery Tender Jr. Comes with a tail that hooks to the battery and hangs down sort of under the back fender. The tender plugs into the outlet, and the charger tip thing plugs into the tail. Peej's battery was new in 2007, been kept plugged in except when I drive days in a row, and just this winter has gone bad. So I can highly recommend the BT Jr. Edit--and he has sat plugged in more than he's been driven, if that makes a difference. As for cost, I paid about $70, but that included the dealer installing the tail thing for me. >'Kat What Kat said. Think of changing you'r oil in a 139-Gy6 (4T) engine, like this guy making a (fake but relevant)call into work. This is you, talking to you're Scooter.

Like the $100 saddle JR. On a GY6 at best you could get the Super Tech 15W40 Rotella alternative in the $9.99 Gallon Jug for your 500 mile oil changes or just about dino any oil that meets the 4T Motorcycle Oil spec Super Tech 15W40 Dino Rotella Alternative (said to be universal and therefore meeting 4T)Super Tech-20W50-Dino Motor-Oil-1-Quart (said to meet 4T Spec). For my Piaggio powered bike I asked the manufacturers rep about those two oils along with real Rotella and the answer was no way. Use only 4T Synthetic in our newer series tight tolerance full flow filtered engines which means any 4 stoke they have made in about the last 25 years. Again use what is appropriate for what you have and try to understand why something would or would not be appropriate. Do not use synthetic in an unfiltered engine that you want any combustion by products etc to accumulate in the bottom of the sump to get drained out every 500 miles which is what you really want on a GY6. The 500 mile oil change is technically not because the oil is worn out but rather because those engines are not particularly clean running so that you need to get the dirt accumulating in the bottom of the sump drained out before it starts circulating back through the engine. Also rockynv someone just told me something that I totally agree with even though I made it sound like Genuine is just wanting to take people's money. Some people actually don't know how to change the oil in a scooter especially a scooter with a true oil filter and the first 500 mile oil change would be a good thing for the scooter warranty and a way for them to learn how. But I still find no evidence at all that the scooter comes with synthetic oil from the factory nor do I find in any Genuine manual where it says to use synthetic oil? If someone has info to the contrary I will stand corrected. JR That would be me. This is the PM i sent JR. I am posting it per his request. Hey Jr, I didn't want to post this in the thread due to the fact it could confuse some people that are new. I don't think the dealers for (PGO) AKA genuine scooters are trying to rip any one off on the first 500 mile services, but are trying to help a new owner get the best they can out of a new scooter and as we know the first few miles makes a difference. China, twain, japan scooters if you neglect it, it will die. I have had kids come to me to have there scooters repaired with oil so dark and gummy (if there is any oil left) it's not funny. Did you know my 2T has on oil filter? well it does right behind the fill tank, to protect the oil pump and carb.(haven't seen one on a 2T china scoot yet.) My advice for a 4T, like many would be, " if it looks dirty dark brown, regardless of miles, then change it" I hope your post get's some of the new scooter fokes to read and click the links you provided because really, the best thing one can do for a 4t engine, regardless of make and model is keep that oil fresh.

You're supposed to change the oil in your push-mower not just top off? Oops..... >'Kat The new Briggs EXI Engines are specifically designed to never need an oil change. Not sure how they pull that one off. Hope its not because they wear out before the first oil change would be needed. I have a B&S EXI mower and what is happing here is that the engine has little notches in the rings allowing it to slowly and safely burn just a small amount of oil. The ideal is that by the time you need an oil change you have already replace the old oil with new. Now if you look at the new B&S mowers you will not find a oil drain plug, yep go look, find it? Nope. Is it a bad thing that they stopped putting them on? Yep i think so as i use to be the guy you took your mower in for repair and now to change the oil you have to run it low on fuel, tip it over and drain it from the fill spout. What where you thinking B&S? Ahhh i see you weren't! As far as scooter oil for the 139-gy6 im with most everyone : Buy what works for you and your scooter fund UNLESS it's a 2 smoker, then it's Bell ray Si-7 all the way. I found it on Newegg with free shipping for $14.42 a Litter (1.5Qt) www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=2WH-001M-00018BTW the pic of the oil on newegg is old but you get the new stuff.

lain, i have a shock with the adjustable piggy back reservoir on my new roughhouse and it rides really well and get rid of that sway you get when turning and cornering. You can tighten it up for heavy riders or two up.Kinda pricey, but i thank it would be your best solution.

Now i really don't want to go into the Honda scooter-ruckus. (but it looks like im going to do it anyway) There has been only ONE upgrade to the 2016-- water cooled and priced at $2,600 MRPrice (same as the Zuma) That's it! 2016 ruckus0 powersports.honda.com/2016/ruckus/specifications.aspxCan you at Least put 'A' girl friend on the back -errr.. i meant a storage box and a Frisbee i can use for a disk break! (Drum roll..-Pun intended) Next. Seen this guy on a bintelli, i think it was this one(link below) and he was moving. bintelliscooters.com/product.aspx?ProductId=181&title=49cc+Bintelli+Prime (White one) I think this is one of the best scooters for a budget buy, with a real warranty you can really use if needed (it has got to be from Znen) ive seen. Cought up with him on my Jonway 50 (and i run a good 40MPH) at the break time.(fill up/convenience store) Cant say what the CVT has it it, but he was moving and i had a had time keeping up. For a QMB 50.. Not bad and he said he paid right at $1,100? The fit and finish looked on par to the price he said he payed. Justin J. if you're reading my mess of a post.... put a dealership in Columbia MO. Larry O.K. so now that im out of gas, and it's late, i'll stop this rant/informative post's. And be a wise guy and leave you hanging, but if it make you feel better that's all that counts. Ride safe- it's a full time job.

True, now i rewired it and it works great and still a good running scoot, but 5 years old and time for a new owner that i can sell too. After all i have all the bug's worked out of it right . I saved up for a Yamaha Zuma from the get go a little at a time for the last year. www.yamahamotorsports.com/zuma/models/2016/zuma-50f T-body-EFI, water cooled and the OHV Tri-vavle engine set up at $2,600+ /Dealer set up/Delivery 1 year parts and labor warranty and tax.(you can do the math) Not for every ones saving budget and in no way a scooter you want to work on if your not set up too. ( fuel pump, EFI's computer) you get the point.(not that you will anytime soon--- but you will some day-- get out you Fluke meter and you wallet) That's why i went with the RHS-Ti 50/PGO (genuine scooters) Now doin't get me wrong Yamaha is top of the line when it comes to advancement in scooters, but does the price of over $3000.00 warren the price on a 50cc scooter? good question. I'm a Bad guy (but no tattoos bad like J.R. has but with a savings account with a hole my pocket.
