Well not today but last week i had to rewire part of my 5 year old jonway due to the fact that the red wire running to the Ing and voltage reg/rec fried and smoke was coming from the battery compartment. (I'm real fast with a screwdriver when i have to be) All my fault, for bypassing the 15 amp fuse. But all is good with it now. Well that's all it took for me to plop down the cash for a new scooter and got a heck of a deal on a 2016 Roughhouse 50 Sport titanium package. Thats the scooter i just bought and it's Fast,Fast,Fast for a stock 50 and pulls hills nicely too. The ride is nice and smooth and build quality is top shelf. I got mine with 54 miles on it and the dealer told me the lady that bought it wanted a red one so he wavered all set-up and delivery fees. Got it for 1,960.00 and that's everything out the door. A real 2 year warranty (parts and labor) and 2 year road side and tears of joy so i just could not pass this up.. no sir-E bob. And yes to all in dought-- it will hit 50MPH right out of the box after it is De-restricted. So to sum it all up...This scoot is just plain Sick and pic's on the Internet simply don't do this scooter justice. www.genuinescooters.com/roughhousesport.html

Pro Tip: I would still replace the Valve Stems nevertheless.

First thing i would Replace would be the valve Stems for both tires. If your a bigger Guy then it is a MUST to get good ones. That front tire blows because of a old cracked (old as in "been setting in a crate in some warehouse") valve steam and your going to have a very bad day.
Safety first, then i would look into the CVT starting with a good Gates or Brando belt.

Good point rocky, he could use the Kelly Blue Book price as a barging tool. It's nice to know that the Kelly Blue Book covers the better made scooters.

If it has a title and runs good then that's not a bad price for a E-ton with only 400 miles/Km on the clock. The E-ton 50's sell for around $1,500 around here. There right up there with Kymco as far as the quality. But like UniqueSP said, see if you can get it for less and make sure the body is not banged up them panels are hard to come by and not cheap. Just take a look at this Jim : columbiamo.craigslist.org/mcy/4552595088.htmlLet us know how it goes.

The corrosion on that pulley could have easily eaten up the belt on that side. BINGO!! you just won the WHY. And I have to add that is not a new scooter. Alleyoop Alleyoop, how dare you say "Water fludded dammage" when it's summer time and sales are quick to buy $ But of corse you didn't, but my bet is it might have been setting for a while, and got a bit power washed and "armored-all" up a bit for pre sale. Just a hunch ya all. (power wash the scooter and it set's all winter long ? ) -- SOLD $$ When i was younger, i worked at a dealership, now i'm not saying this is the case, but i seen the pic of that face plate rusted on only one side ( the bottom side?) so given the metal the stock ones are made of i'll bet i'm not too far off.

Kat,back in my younger days (1985) i worked for a glass company called "Thurm-Alum" we had the contract for a high rise in Sarasota Fl. this is a pic of it. Now the Glass is 3/8 inch thick and can withstand up to 200 miles per hour winds. You can beat the glass all day long in the center of the glass with a hammer BUT you as dare tap the edge of it even ever so slightly and poof- game over. (and $2000.00 of glass on the floor) The sheet's are for the most part 3' X 12' @ 3/8 " thick. I think a rock or the like hit your window just right and boom.. there she blows. Edit: that would be 2 - 6' glass panes in one 12' Aluminium frame to =12'

"Simplot Building on 10th and Main Street in Boise around 1:15 p.m. after people complained of headaches and being dizzy." Are we sure it was the scooter that made them dizzy? .. Happy hour at lunch?
