Yes you have an A/C set up, most all scooters are set up this way unless they have EFI like the new Zuma it's DC.

Yep, pretty sure it's A/c. Now there is a D/C side that comes off the battery and that helps run your blinkers, tail light and so-forth but the stater (alternator) runs a A/C current to the voltage regulator/ rectifier that in turns has a red wire to the battery for charging and runs to the head lights/dash and tail light thats why when you rev up, the lights get brighter because it's on the A/C side. The rectifier part converts the A/C current into D/C current for the battery. Unless you have some really odd ball scooter,(or you have EFI)it's going to be A/C. Now i would not run it for long without the battery hooked up (even if it's a dead battery) as it might fry your voltage regulator. If im wrong,I'll eat dirt and i doin't like dirt, it's too dirty! www.racingplanetusa.com/gorilla-motor-works-black-jack-electric-c-30243_30759-1.html?newcPathco=21

What about a Gen Buddy 220cc blur? To be honest i have never drove one.. Yet. I will say however that my GS roughhouse is a well made scooter nothing cheep about it and built like a tank and rides more like a small motorcycle then my china scooter. The Buddy 50 is a 2T and the 150 and up are a 4t. i see them from time to time around my collage town but never in a shop for more then an oil change and small adjustments. That's why i bought a GS.. Aka :PGO en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PGO_Scooters

No. Kymco makes a great ride. Whoever told you that, did not do there homework because they are not a bad bike- not the best, but not bad. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/KymcoBecause it seems you are looking for a bigger CC scooter you might want to look at a scooter that has a dealer near you as so you can have any work done/parts ordered that is within warranty. If you are looking for a good les-costly scooter that is well thought out and in the 50cc range then i would look into a Bintelli scooter. Justin J did a good job addressing a-lot of the problems we see when buying a scooter online. And yes, they run A/C as well Have fun and ride safe.
