My 50cc trike has a 13" front tire and the spedo is off by about 7 mph. I don't even really look at it any more. I have a koso digital meter installed and also use a gps. Roy Did you try putting a 10 inch wheel speedometer drive puck on it? No, I did not want to go through the hassle of pulling the front wheel off. I just installed the digital meter. Roy

My 50cc came with a 15a tube type fuse. I replaced it with a blade type in a marine type holder. My 300 had a 20a I also replaced it.

Checking and/or adjusting the valves should be part of the P.D.I., then every other oil change, and if it has difficulty starting or is dieing at stops.

Man, I just got done shoveling the sidewalk and drive. Then the plow truck came by and pushed what was in the street up onto the sidewalk and drive. Now I gotta go dig it out. Major bummer. Roy

I also have a 2010 magnum 300R with independent rear suspension. The reverse lever is on the left handle bar. I use reverse a lot because I find it hard to push this 600 pound trike up hill. On level ground it is not to hard. I have not had a problem yet. But I do check the adjustment often. I think if the end of the dogs on the gears and slide were rounded off on the corners it would engage smoother.

Whats the big deal? Often the 50 cc is a hazard to ther rest of us. .There is almost no 150 I would ride on the interstate anywhere. If I cannot keep with traffic, I believe in getting off the road. Particually while my friends and neighbosrs are trying to get to wokr on time. Course I guess I am selfish that way. lefty2 I think you have it backwards, the rest of you are a hazard to 50cc riders. Is a 50cc rider anymore of a hazard then the bicycle riders? In Missouri the law states I can ride my 50cc on any road that is not federally funded (IE interstates) I can ride them on state highways where the speed limit is 55mph even. Is it smart? Probably not, but it is legal. I must ride as far to the right and as safely as possible, but do not have to ride on the shoulder. If another vehicle passes me they must do so safely and leave ample distance, or they can be ticketed for careless and imprudent driving as well as wreck-less driving. If you operate any vehicle you must operate it as safe as possible manor. Just because the posted speed limit says you can drive a certain speed does not mean it is safe. It just means you cannot go any faster than the posted limit. Most people that have a license do not even know all the laws. They just think that other vehicles should not be on the road. I do not believe in just getting off the road. it is just as much my privilege as any other persons. Roy

Watch out for the stroker eating up variators as it did for Larry I am aware of his variator problem. I have been researching this for some time. I have found very few reviews. I am sure that more than one person has tried this and his is the only review that states he had variator trouble. If I do have trouble I will go with a 44mm BBk. Roy
