I took delivery of a new engine today. Now I can finally start this project. I could not find a suitable used engine, so I ordered a new one. (from scrappy).
Hoca 44mm stroker crankshaft
NCY 50mm BBK kit
NCY 50mm head
NCY A9 perfomance camshaft
Hoca performance intake manifold
keihin carburetor.
and various other parts.
I will need to order an 8 pole stator and flywheel. I don't want to pull it off the other engine. Also I still need to decide on a variator and clutch. I am not going to use the efi kit on this engine yet, but probably will later on.

Watch out for the stroker eating up variators as it did for Larry I am aware of his variator problem. I have been researching this for some time. I have found very few reviews. I am sure that more than one person has tried this and his is the only review that states he had variator trouble. If I do have trouble I will go with a 44mm BBk. Roy

Nice post triker
I am curious though... How are you going to compensate for the extra 1.3mm @ TDC? Stack bases gaskets or a spacer? And will the cam chain length be an issue?
I'm not trying to needle you ~ just curious. Lot's of pics, please!

Well If all goes well tomorrow and I get my to do list done I will start on this project. I will have to use a different carb than the keihin I ordered. The site I ordered from(MX Motorsports) pulled the ol switcharoo and sent me a cheap knock off. Also I ordered copper exhaust gasket rings and they sent regular gasket rings. I'm not going to go into details of the phone call I made to them but I will not recommend them to anybody. So I will be looking for another place to get a Keihin 20mm carb. Any body got a good lead? In the mean time I have a 19mm carb and a 23mm carb but If I use the 23mm carb I will have to replace the throttle cable or modify the cable mount.

I'm not trying to needle you ~ just curious. Lot's of pics, please! I haven't decided yet I am going to test fit it first and see exactly how much the piston comes out of the cylinder. If I use a spacer I will still need two base gaskets. I'm not sure about the chain yet, but I don't think it will be a problem. If the chain is to short I will mill off the top of the piston. I need to measure how thick the top of the piston is. I don't want to make it to thin. Or I may try to find a longer chain. But even one link may make it to long. Roy

The stock chain is 82 links. I haven't found an link chain and haven't found extra links. So a longer chain may not be possible. Roy
