I took the florida course. It was two full days on their bikes. www.jmst.com/Cost was $21000. When you finish the class all that's left is a trip to DMV for the endorsement.

Yes The Fonzo was cool. But early on they needed to make him cooler. In the early episodes he wore a windbreaker. The powers that be changed that to his trademark leather jacket.

The more legal option is to take the course, get your endorsement and insure the thing. It doesn't cost that much.
Play by the rules in the long run its easier.

It looks d like they were dead in the water six months ago. Looks like they found funding.
As far as balance it uses dymamic stabilization much like a Segway. The trick is don't try to balance. After a spinal cord injury I have horrible balance but can ride a Segway.
There's a place for the ryno but is that market going to be big enough to support the production.

Those are 2 very different bikes. I recommend you ride them too. The people will likely perform a bit better than the like... Very sound advice. I love my s200 as I prefer big wheel scooters and with its 16" wheels it fits the bill. Runs great, solid as a rock no rattles and looks great. I've also found the dealer support to be very good. I needed a dealer/service on the road and was surprised how many they have. The like is a more traditional small wheel scooter and is a completely different ride. Good luck IMO you can't go wrong with a kympco.

Law enforcement varies hugely in the US depending on where you are. Here in Cary, police will respond immediately to calls of vehicles parked on residential streets for more than a night, damaged / deteriorated street signs, fireworks on July 4th, semi-obnoxious noise or exterior lighting, people selling magazines door to door, warrants from traffic tickets a few days after the court date, heck maybe they'll even come visit if you don't mow your lawn for a couple weeks. The town is overstaffed on public / emergency services, I know most would criticize me for making such a statement but it's true, too much funding not enough things to do. They get bored. I had 7 cops come within 15 min to help me push my disabled car out of the street in the middle of the night a few years ago and they seemed to enjoy it (I didn't even call them!). Fortunately they don't hassle scooters at least. But props to those guys for investigating a stolen scooter, don't think they'd do that here. You never know who you'll get dealt. Well that settles it I'm moving to Cary ! Be Big, AMAC
