So my wife has her scoot now, and I'm looking for one for me. I think I've narrowed it down to 2 possible rides:
1. 2009 Kymco People S200, 500 miles, asking $1750 2. 2012 Kymco Like 200i, 4100 miles, asking $2000
Engine wise, I think the only difference is fuel injection. Does anyone have any opinions or experience with either/both of these?
Thanks!

Kymco makes great Taiwanese manufactured scooters.
The Like 200i is assembled at their mainland China plant, but it is still a quality scooter.
There is a Kymco forum if you need more specific information.
Those are decent deals, I would test ride each one and see which one you like better.
Don't for get to check out Lance scooters (made by SYM) and the Kymco Agility, they are in the same price range brand new.

Those are 2 very different bikes. I recommend you ride them too. The people will likely perform a bit better than the like...

I love my s200 as I prefer big wheel scooters and with its 16" wheels it fits the bill. Runs great, solid as a rock no rattles and looks great. I've also found the dealer support to be very good. I needed a dealer/service on the road and was surprised how many they have. The like is a more traditional small wheel scooter and is a completely different ride. Good luck IMO you can't go wrong with a kympco.

Thanks for the info. My issue is that price is a huge factor right now, so I'm leaning toward the S200. It's been listed for a while, and he's dropped the price twice, so I can probably get him down some more.
I prefer the looks of the Like, and the fuel injection, but I like the 16" wheels on the S200.
I checked the Kymco forum, but they don't respond very often, not like here, which is why I asked you guys.
I'm going to look at both, hopefully this week, and I'm hoping they'll let me test ride them.
Thanks!

I checked the Kymco forum, but they don't respond very often, not like here... +1... I joined over on the Kymco forum initially as I was initially looking at the 150cc Super8. I needed something with a little higher top-end and couldn't afford the 200-300 Kymcos, so I started looking and found this site and discovered I could get a 250cc China scoot for $1k less than the 150 Kymco. IIRC, I tried to join the Kymco forum and I never received the verification email to let me in. I thought the downtown 300i looked like a nice choice since it has a full windscreen, but reviews I've read say that it's not a good fit for 6' riders...

Guzziknight, They both are going to be nice rides, I guess i prefer the S200. I might make a suggestion though, if you are ok with a scooter that is a little weird looking, in your price range you might be able to find a Kymco Yager. It is also fuel injected and a fantastic scooter, but the looks take a little time to grow on you. If it is for your wife, the Yager is also a great fit for shorter riders. I have seen one or two on CL for $1750 from the right seller. My dealer wanted about $2500 new I think. www.justgottascoot.com/yager.htmBTW....I love my Downtown, it has been fantastic.

I am still thinking of buying the Kymco Agility 50. It would be something to get around in town and maybe towing a bicycle trailer behind to go camping. I got a 250cc scooter but save it for highway rides.. The bank would do $50 per month on it.. Attachments:

I don't really like the looks. I tend to prefer the classic looks of the Like, but the People is about as far as I want go.

I've seen the 125 here for around $1000, so that's a possibility as well, but I'm not sold on the looks of the Agility either. For the price, I could live with it though!
