As they say. "The land of fruit & nuts"..... But PERFECT scootin' weather! Spandi Did you edit urbanmadness post? Anyway you could always try Arizona, new Mexico, Texas,Louisiana, Alabama, Georgia Or Florida. They are all(pretty much)Gun, Barbe-q & scooter friendly. Dave Tru dat brotha.. When I was stationed in North Carolina at Camp LeJeune...if your truck did NOT have a gun rack mounted over the back 'Winnder' as they called it....you were frowned upon. Was the same in Virginia and South Carolina. Here is a pic..that was a common bumper sticker in North Carolina.. Attachments:

i wonder how long the back ground check took for it and if you can get a conseal and carry permit for it I am sure you could get a CCW permit for it. Just as long as you are safe n smart..unlike this dude in the pic. Hearing protection is ESSENTIAL at the shooting range..and so is common sense..but it appears he forgot that part of it? OK....he can use his "rocking scoot" but only if he puts on his helmet first! ;D HELMET!!! We don't need NO stinking HELMET!!! Next they will pass a LAW requiring you to ware a Jock strap, arch support, Hans device and Helmet to drive your to store for a gallon of milk. Reminds me of that old OSHA joke about the new requirement for safety devices needed to ride someones asscot. LOL Dave Oh yeah.."OSHA has determined that the safe number of people on my @ss at any given time..is 2. Unless I install Hand Rails and Safety Harnesses"

And in california, they would ban it, and not only becuase it looks like a gun. They would come up with some law, reasoning, that you will cook more meat and offend the weed and seed eaters of Davis and Berkley. If it weren't for the weather, and my friends..(not in that order)... They wouldn't ban it if you painted the tip of the barrel fluorescent orange like they have to do with Air Soft guns. Ya see...that way the Cops would know it was a grill in your yard and not a real gun. But knowing California..they have a Grill Tax...that is determined on the size of your Grill..then the fee to have it tested for airborne exhaust hydrocarbons etc...while using it. I heard that over there...if your house burns down...you get fined for not having an 'Open Burn' permit from the Fire Dept...and if the smoke from your homes inferno exceeds the legal limit of airborne toxins..that is another fine.. .....

Here is part of a writing I did 5 or 6 years back for a college paper..never turned it in with this portion of it in it. But did show the Instructor...who got a laugh and said I should have included it.. West Virginia: A small state 130 miles wide by 240 miles long.... located in the southeastern United States....within the Appalachian mountain range..... Admitted into the Union June 20th, 1863.... becoming the 35th State.....Population is approximately 852,994 with...with only 14 last names.

k I will explain...32 teeth in West Virginia...here this pic will give ya a clue about what I was talking about.. Btw it was a joke as many make reference to WV folks only having a few teeth. In fact that is how we know the Toothbrush was invented in WV...cause if it were invented in any other state...it would be called a Teethbrush.. ;D Attachments:

You can put 3.5x10 or smaller wheels on it I suggest he measure the new tire fist...but I have seen folks use 80/ -10 and / -10 on a short case. A hair taller...but nice n fat...real meaty looking tires..but they did have to make a simple bracket to raise their mud flap up so it did not rub.

JR..it won't stop me from shopping neither...as I do agree that many things I buy online are because I don't want to drive 40-45 mins and cost as have to add my gas cost to the items retail cost. @ spandi... I did see it coming..knew it was. Yes they lose money from brick n mortar sales. It is not that I give up money to them...it is that they give up our money to others and what is kept...gets spent wastefully...do like spoiled 5 yo child in a soy store..they want more."I want that..I want that too..boo hoo I want more toys I will just give away to the neighbor kid..or break as soon as I get it..then want more" Lately everyone wants and needs more money..it's how the economy is..but why punish is by taking more money when it is not our fault the money blown frivolously. You can bet large companies and the wealthy will be exempt or somehow granted a loophole for this new tax. All Governing bodies are needing more money..down to the State...County..and even township level. I have a bud that is a recent Retired State Trooper. ok again this is how the wealthy get over on things. The local law enforcement(and most of them do not agree with this or like it..but are told to by superiors) Anyway..they have a "Hit of the week list" This where they pull out old or seldom used laws and over enforce them in small farming townships...or other low income communities. Last week it was if you were parallel parked and did not signal when pulling away from the curb.. One lady sat in town her entire shift and handed tickets out for that alone. The week before my bud told me it was the '3 second rule' At a stop sign or flashing light indicating a stop until you were sure there was not oncoming traffic..you must be stopped a minimum of 3 seconds. They used digital stop watches as 'evidence'..sat behind the Church and doled out tickets all day. This week it is something new..ryan52 on here is my friend and lives 1/2 mile from me. We do not know what the "Hit of the week is this week'..but in about an hours time riding in and around town..we saw 7 or more folks stopped and being ticketed. I followed one guy to the gas station to ask him what it was about and that were stopping folks left and right...handing out tickets. He told me it was because one of his 2 license plate bulbs were out. Tag was still readable but one bulb was blown. So it seems that is the "Hit of the week" Ok sure..yes all Governing agencies do need more money...but they need to get it like we have to get ours... SPEND WITHIN REASON AND WITHIN YOUR BUDGET...not piddle it away then collect more from others that are budgeting their money in a tough economy. That is akin to the fat playground bully at school that eats his lunch...then beats up other kids for theirs. Laws and Policies were written to be enforced across the board....not so you can overspend...then take from the low income and the wealthy became exempt. Sure Robin Hood was fictitious..but I liked his policy.."I steal from the Rich and give to the Poor".... Let them see what it is like.

I know what you're thinking Punk, "Did me make six racks of ribs or only five?" 5 or 6 racks of ribs is ok...BUT...if he made 5 or 6 ounce steaks....I say we ground his @ss from the grill. That's right...strip him of his Chefs Apron and BBQ Utensil Holster. Not even a Punk eats a 6 ounce steak.. if I want that I will go to a cookout at Lyndsey Lohans house and hang with those anorexic peeps...

[replyingto=millsc]millsc[/replyingto]Yup..that's Shop...it's 40 mins from me and I know the guy well. He had a better vid though. They did send him new rims and explained to him they were removed from the mold too soon and warped. He also had some cheaper Scoots with steel wheels...where the 3 post center piece was welded in so crooked...you didn't even need to spin the wheel to see it. Just sitting on the center stand you could see the rims were tilted to the side. This model here.. www.scooterdepot.us/50cc-stylish-gas-motor-scooters-disc-brake-p-739-273.html

[replyingto=redroush00]redroush00[/replyingto]Ah ok...kewl. We can only have amber if you have a truck with a snow plow on it to warn folks cause when plowing all the snow we get up here... since the truck is going back and forth....in and out of driveways and parking lots. So I can't have flashing lights... cause a plow is too heavy for my Scoot..I it tried though.. Hey at 25-50 bucks people pay per driveway..I coulda made some money with my scoot..
