It does have the upgraded springs and the 1500 yellow main spring. I have plenty of power off the line it's just the top end that I'm not achieving. When I say top end, I'm not meaning top speed, but just the ability to tach out a little higher. I can hear it and feel it bogging like the a/f mixture is crap but I've toyed with this to no end. If there is a way to adjust the timing with what I have, it may fix it. I swear is too much air of too much fuel.
Also, if there are NCY golf towels I'm interested. Thanks guys

Tell me what you really think and don't hold back. Oh yea, you did. Nice to know I'm "heavier" too. None of what you just said really helps me. Does anyone else have any ideas? Wow, someones insecure about their weight. I really didn't mean t like that but ok. Of course non of what I said helps you because you read what you wanted too. I got a 50 that goes over 45, with $100, but you dropped 500 and can't achieve what my smaller engine can? I don't recall you paying for help, so you can lose the attitude. Try again. I asked if my carb was too big? I asked if my jets were too much? You got close with your roller weight answer but your opinion of just buying a bbk kit in the first place and that I wasted my money wasn't very classy. My money is just that, mine. Just calm down smartass. You win, I just need some help.

I think the most efficient way to spend that would have been to buy a bbk, Then a performance camshaft(They make a big difference.). Then up-jet the carb, and free flow filter/exhaust. Then *Experiment* with the variator weights. I've found heavier people need lighter weights. I would not recommend an Un-restricted cdi, unless it advances timing, because i've found that almost all stock dci's are not restricted. Waste of money if you ask me. I would HIGHLY recommend you getting the NGK boot cap for you Iridium plug. On every bike i've worked on it makes a big difference in spark reliability, and has made the bikes start easier. Tell me what you really think and don't hold back. Oh yea, you did. Nice to know I'm "heavier" too. None of what you just said really helps me. Does anyone else have any ideas?

It's just a normal 150cc gy6 variator. It's from the stage 4 kit on MonsterGY6.com. BTW, you do not get the one pictured.

Getting pissed because I've dumped a ton of time on my stuff and I can't get it quite right. Here is the rundown on what I have so far.
1.1p57qmj motor (stock internals) 2. 32mm CVK Carb 130 jet with performance manifold 3. 12 gram variator rollers 4. No rev limit CDI 5. Gates main drive belt 6. NGK Iridium plug 7. I swapped the final drive gear to because I was tached out and only achieved 45mph. I had full travel on the belt. 8. straight through exhaust 9.Stock Fuel pump 10. upgraded Variator from Monster GY6 11. Uni foam filter 12. eliminated all of the CARB items
So the problem is I can only achieve 7000 rpm at about 49mph. I'm 225lbs. It can spool out on the center stand. I'm not sure if I screwed up by using too big a carb or what. I have adjusted the valves and had some problems with ties which have since been flipped into some Dunlop 2CT's.
I can feel it start to bog on the throttle one it hit's the enricher valve on the CVK carb, and aside from that everything seems cool. Maybe not enough fuel with being a stock pump. I've had it about a year and just can't get it right now that I changed the rear main gears.

Take off the primary cover and look. It's a simple system. You will be able to tell real fast. 1 washer, 2 bushings, 1 assembly, and a spring. That's it. 1 of those things has crapped out on you.

So I'm assuming there is a basic electrical "pickup" on the crank somewhere. It will be a sensor that connects to the cdi and tells the cdi to fire. It should basically be a simple Magnetic sensor with a wire. i'm not sure where it is but follow the wires you don't know about on the cdi and you should find it.

I checked all that out and had a bit of a problem understanding. Are you basically saying just take it off and leave the vent solenoid in place? and nothing on the end. I'll be more than happy to post some pics so this question never gets asked again but I just don't get what I should do. Also, anyone know what to do with the tranny case vent?

So I got a 1p57qmj motor and I just swapped into a one size fits all 30mm carb. Stupid. I shoe horned this junk in and it looks ok. Problem is, I only have 1 vacuum fitting and I'm hoping its enough for the system. The main problem is , the scooter looks like it has some kind of EGR system. There was a fitting on the old carb but not on the new one. It went from the carb to a charcoal canister, then to a valve, and terminating at the tank. Should I just cap this thing off? Any ideas?
