what has you confused psi ? because you're using acronyms yourself was "no you don't really need a bigger carb" to complicated 30 cubic centimetres is only 20% of 150 cubic centimetres stock is fine You must be awesome in social situations with that winning personality. My question is more based on a performance standpoint. The question is, will there be any benefit stepping into a 28mm carb. I have the Ecotrons wideband O2 kit to nail the mixture so I wont have to mess around with jets too much. As it stands, there is no flat spot because it hasn't run in quite some time. I have removed the fuel injection kit to step back into carb land. Thats all the question is. You dont have to be cynical and snide. I get that you are a scooter god.

on the stock motor you know that dead spot where you don't get more power even when you give more gas? yea that's your carb having more go than your motor can use at fifteen psi only so much can fit into 149 cc so no you don't really need a bigger carb So let's start again and not use acronyms. I just finished installing my big bore kit (180cc) and was wondering if I should stick with my stock 24cc carb or jump into a 28mm or 30mm CVK.

Might be a clogged jet too or a problem with the fuel mix. Does it die after the warm up period? There is a bunch of different things it can be. Focus on the ones that are free to fix first. Check your spark plug. The funkyness of it may let you know if you are running rich or lean.

I give up and don't have time to program this thing. Ecotrons is useless as far as help after owning it for more than a year. I've got this kit installed. This is a used kit. When I say used, I mean it has run for 30 minutes. I'll ship you everything. $250 takes it. I've decided to switch to a big bore. Shipping will be 2-day fedex express with tracking and insurance. I get a discount so I'll ship it for $10. Check out www.ecotrons.com/products/small_engine_fuel_injection_kit/

So after the recent birth of my boy, I now jave time to return to my ecotrons nightmare. A nice side note, I've never asked for a tune, but now if I ask for one it's $400. So I've made some adjustments and moved some crap. I think i was getting vapor locked before. So now that I'm done, I can't figure out how to run these fuel lines so that they dont look like garbage. Anyone have a finished product on a gy6?

Cool guys. I'm going to turn off the fuel cut off in the ecotrons edu kit and see if it fixes my problem today. I'm also working on a Bluetooth adapter work around for the kit without spending $50 on the stupid one from ecotrons. Once I'm done with that, I'll post the complete how to here.

So I gots me one of the monster gy6 kits that came with a new clutch and a 1500 rpm spring. It hangs up when I let off the throttle and holds on as I slow and releases at a low speed. Makes. Me backfire a bit, just wondering if anyone has an idea for a fix

I don't know what you mean by hang, but I haven't noticed any issues with it. When you release the throttle, the clutch stays engaged until around the 1700 rpm range

As far as the brake light. Check the switch at the handle and see if it is putting out 12 volts. Odds are, if it starts with that handle depressed, it's not the switch. Get a multimeter and set it to ohms andground one end to the batterbattery and the other to the inside of the light socket. If the meter goes to 0.00, you have ground. Switch the meter to dc 200 and hit the brake and see if you have 12v on the other lead

So I finally got my efi on and right. Now it's time to tune. A year has passed since purchase so I was told it was gonna cost. I was cool with that until Brian the Chinese guy gave me the number. $300!!! But, the saving grace. If I only have 1 problem, it's only $210. I want to fly to China and smash his face with a bat.

Did you get the charging system squared away? John Yup, with your help, it's healthy. A couple wires have no home anymore, and wiring a relay to the lights was a breeze. also happy to report that my era is less than .02 amps at rest
