So when I got my Peace scooter, I put a CVK on and I have the OEM carb which has not had any fuel in it. I also picked up the manual choke cable and have never installed it either. I'm selling it for $50 with the cable and shipping will be actual shipping cost. I can overnight this cheap as too because I get 75% off FedEx express. I'll throw in a jet kit for an extra $10. It's got 8 jets in it. I'll be putting up a 32mm CVK soon once my EFI kit shows up. Send me a message. I can email pics if you want them

I'm faced with a daily commute of 27 miles each day to work and I'm tired of dealing with tuning over and over of getting my cab right. Call me weak but I don't care. I need reliability and more top end and better mileage each day so the decision has been made to do EFI. I have looked at both kits and they appear similar. I'm worried about tuning and which is more recommended. MBE is $300 and Ecotrons is $400. They both have some hidden charges as far as blue tooth add-ons and MBE want more for an O2 sensor. Any of you guys have an opinion on what I should go with?

my fuel sending unit went on the fritz. If a wire grounds it will read empty and not move. It looks for resistance in the line. I'd pull out the sending unit and wiggle the float with the key on first. Try to chase the wire and see if it is grounded. If all else fails unplug it and put a multimeter on the 2 wires and set it to ohms. Move the float and see if the range changes. They are cheap to buy and made of sheap parts so it's not uncommon to die.
As far as the speedo goes, I think it's mechanical.

I've adjusted my valves a few times and I'm just wondering you guy's opinions on whether I should have some valve tick or none at all. I just adjusted my intake to .002" and my exhaust to .0025" It ticks, but not loud. More like a Honda civic tick. I haven't taken it for a ride yet no have I buttoned it up pending the results of this question.

what's throwing me is that that lower screw seems like it would be the air/fuel screw. When I look at my oem carb, it has the same pointed screw in the same location that is the air/fuel screw (at the bottom of the bowl)

Alright, I got the 2 adjustment screws . I'm assuming the one on the bottom of the bowl is for air/fuel but what the is the one mid way up?

Man I wish you hadn't have put this. This is so bad !!! I've figured out a little of my problem as my CVK has 2 adjustment screws that I am unsure of, and I have since re-jetted with a 122. I just have to get it together and go vroom

I just got my old carb and drilled out the non-serviceable screws and I'll get my hands on a smaller jet in the 122-1/2 range and see how that goes. I appreciate all that have helped and I'll check back with the results.

old: 13t X 40 New: 15T X 37 Variator Diameter is about 4.5" the belt is gates powerling 842X20X30
Putting the stock carb back in is gonna suck. It looks like about a 22mm opening and the Uni filter is a little big as it is almost 2" The pipe is just a B-S from Scooterpartsmania.com with the fatter header. I thought it would be junk but it's holding together pretty good.

Bogging, yes in the higher rpm range. No backfiring at all. I adjusted the a/f mixture to eliminate any popping I heard originally. I put in the gear to get a little more top end speed. Before I was at 45mph at around 7500rpm. The engine has never seemed quite right. I switched from the 130 jet to a 140 for a minute and going big was not the answer. I'm now back at the 130 and thinking a 120 with 10g rollers
