made nearly $500 in about 2 hours playing $1/$2 no limit hold'em at the casino about 3 miles down the road. was running hot obviously but the competition tonight was LOL bad. had a guy call my all-in bet on the turn holding QQ. board was K3J8.. i had KK, nice flop for me and shocked he doubled me up with QQ on that board. he reloaded and i took all his chips less than an hour later with AQ vs his KJ on QJ6 A2... love this game. i haven't played much in the past year. todays win nearly doubles the roll i had set aside for poker. definitely going to get back in the game now. i was even planning to add the cash i got for selling my atm50 to my poker roll but may not have to now. a grand should give me a big enough cushion to start booking some wins. anyone else play poker? what am i saying??? everyone plays poker... but does anyone have a passion for the game like i do?

And what is this the Clutch engages at 5000 RPMS!! WOW!! Talk about sling shots. Alleyoop rolf... yep, i don't like it either. it was a very expensive clutch too. i would have changed the springs long ago if i could have found one that fit. it does have three blue springs but they are so stiff you'd think they were red painted blue.

... the previous owner NEVER lashed the valves. adjust the valves and try again.

rode it to the store today and noticed the speedometer wasn't working. guessing the cable broke again. it was practically new, about 2,000km. the cable wasn't attached. must have been loose, i guess it came undone when i fixed the kill/starter switch assembly. i used thread locker and reattached. friend from work doesn't seem too interested so i finally listed it on craigslist. thought many would be interested but no response yet. doesn't help that someone with a nearly new atm50 posted his for sale shortly after for the same price.

Have to tell you Bro, the idle and carb are not set right. It should not idle that high on cold starts. Alleyoop my new 150 idles between 2,000-2500rpms on cold starts with the tire moving. slows to about 1600rpms usually within 15 seconds and tire stops. i assumed that was normal. hey Leo, good to hear nothing bad happened. i didn't have that problem on my atm50 because the clutch doesn't engage until 5,000rpms. but now that scenario has been in the back of my mind every time i start my new scoot on the center stand.

Darn that was the new battery! I will watch these on my break, thank you. well for it to drop to 8v after full charge then i would say it's toast. if you bought it locally you could try taking it back. they would/should test it with a load tester and give you a new one if it's bad.

Thank you! More info. When I do charge it with my battery tender it will get a little over 12V then when I try to start it same thing. Nothing happens it goes down to 8V and it sounds like I can hear the battery acid in it moving around (kind of scary) probably going to need a new battery but you'll need to find out why it isn't charging so you don't kill the new battery. i have to go out so here is a quick link to help you get started. www.youtube.com/results?search_query=stator%20testing&sm=1maybe Alley or someone else with electrical knowledge will chime in for you. gl

It is 12V 6AH. I jumped it with my car and it started up instantly. Drove it around and when I came back tried to turn it off then on and nothing happened. I'm starting to think there might be a short in it some where. it's not charging. from reading other posts it is most-likely the rectifier or/and stator. i'll see if i can find a post explaining how to test those.

nearly every road around here has a median so i usually do a michigan left. even if the light is triggered it's usually faster to go straight if light is green or turn right if it just turned red and then do a U-turn.

is it the first time you took that nut off? i wonder if someone used red thread locker. i don't know how else that nut could have left it's threads behind. my only thought is to try picking it out (very carefully) but if red thread locker was used then i doubt that will work. i'd get some more advice before you do anything.
