i got a 118 jet from power-barn.com. you may want to try adjusting the needle first. if you raise the needle a little (with the 115 or lower it with the 120) you might not need to buy another jet.

Make sure you have the cam set correctly so you can keep it all in time. yeah, double check the timing after you tighten the 4 nuts.

someone suggested it might be a float bowl running out of fuel. that would explain the delay in it getting going again. that is a possibility. i had a problem with gas getting in my oil awhile ago. my petcock was leaking and the carb floats weren't adjusted right so fuel was constantly dripping into the engine. i readjusted the floats but over compensated and it ran similar to what you describe. if i was running at WOT for more than 20 seconds it would bog down.

if it's leaking from the valve cover then try using a thin coat of gasket maker. every time i adjust my valves i always put a coat on and never had a problem with leaks from the cover.

It looks like paint in the picture . I will send you a replacement . Your here asking about it . Continue then let me know what you would like to do . Please do not hesitate to install it and try it . It will have no bearing on replacement . If the back plate is smooth and free movement go for it. John yeah, it's hard to tell from the pics but it is definitely a chip. i mean i would prefer one in perfect condition since i doubt i will know if it's an issue until it's too late. idk, perhaps i'm just paranoid.

Post a picture of the face is there any imperfections where the belt rides ? You got the 11g rollers . John the pictures show the damage. this is a high speed precision part, the issue is more than just about the face.

Any advice on best place to find these parts? Thanks again...this is a great forum. tvnacman aka John posted in your thread yesterday. his website is one of the banners above. if he doesn't have what you need, partsforscooters.com or scrappydogscooters.com should have it. both of them have banners above also.

I do like hot peppers...
But not quite so hot as I ate fifty years ago... I do believe that health-wise, they are very good for you, if you don't have medical conditions that can be irritated by them, like bleeding ulcers and such. I still enjoy jalapenos and the occasional habanero, but those, along with some Oriental peppers CAN be just TOO much for the old system... They sure do TASTE good though! Almost "addictive"... LOL! Last week at Wally World I found some California peppers that look just like jalapenos, but are BRIGHT RED. Couldn't resist... And, they were DELICIOUS! Taste like jalapenos, but not quite as hot. The perfect pepper for us old geezers who are wanting something a little tamer. I think those were called "Red Serrano" peppers, but I may be wrong. You can't miss them... Very distinctive looking. Definitely worth a try for those who want to cool it down a notch! Enjoy those fire-peppers, and keep the extra-soft bathroom tissue handy!Leo in Texas are they hotter than banana peppers? that is about all i can handle anymore. they are so good on any sandwich or salad but even those mild banana peppers i still have to limit myself to just a few.

look on left side of engine near the kick stand. it appears to be 50cc but won't know anything without that number. ramblinman, found these numbers on the side of the engine: 1P390MB the 0 is actually Q. parts will be very easy to find. start with an exhaust imo. look under your scoot to locate the exhaust studs. they may be broken... if so you'll need to order new exhaust studs and nuts. also locate the exhaust mounts on the side of your engine. make sure they aren't broken and you will probably need to order those bolts also.
