The issue wasn't him having a helmet, he did have one,but it was a cheapo China one. What I'm upset about is these companies selling helmets they claim are certified, when they really arent, when these helmets are shown over and over to fail. People are dying because they are lied to about a helmet meeting the certs

I finally went out and put out some flowers and a ghost helmet, for William Smith today, he was the rider killed over the holiday, by a drunk driver. The paper had the wrong intersection, so I rode 20 minutes out of my way, only to double back, after I called the sheriffs department to confirm the location, it was right where I turn every day heading to work, the driver has been charged with vehicular homicide. This guy was 60 years old, trying to get his life back on track, in Turning point, he went to the mens ministry I go to, just no reason for this, no reason to EVER drive drunk, he didn't even get a funeral, because they can't contact his family, somebody needs to remember him imgur.com/a/ySS6P

the danger of many of them, is a lot of scooter wearers are wearing these type of helmets, thinking they are safe, because some company in China made it look like a certified helmet, when in fact it's a piece of crap, I'm about to go ride 20 miles in the cold and lay a memorial, because of the same reason, if they had been selling fake seatbelts to the auto makers, there would be outrage, but they are causing the deaths of an untold number of people, but nothing can or will be done.

we had an old guy killed on a scooter this weekend, 60 years old, he would always ride really slow around town, had a milk crate on the back, details are sketchy but it sounds like someone just pulled out in front of him, I painted this crap helmet flat white, put his name on it, and I'll ride out and leave a memorial out there for him, he always had one of those cheap china skid lids on, he was ejected and died at the hospital, makes me wonder if he had been wearing a better helmet, if he would be alive, they've tested a lot of those cheapo helmets and they are worthless, just shatter on impact

Santa Claus. Piloting a helicopter made me nervous. Piloting a sleigh is much harder. Esp with eight reindeer pulling it. and no windshield to stop the um splatter

Ya, my stator burned out, so it was easy to tell the issue. But I went ahead and replaced the cdi box, the diode, rectifier, to make sure one of these was not the original coprate, of why the stator burned up. Parts costed around $130 + new water pump, oil and antifreeze. It starts fine now and running like a champ. Mine is a Chinese scoot MC 13 250 Bali scooter. Your scooter is a more expensive parts. Good luck.. what part of your stator went? if it's AC the charge coil, and lighting circuit, and charging circuit are all different circuits, the charge coil wouldn't really be affected by the regulator, you could hook up only the charge coil output and it would still run

i check my pressure every day, I carry a really good dial gauge and a collapsible bike pump, it's designed to go on a bike frame. It's critical on these 10 inch tires.

they passed a law in FL where you can go without a helmet, but you have to have proof of medical insurance, this is so when they scrape you off the road, the tax payers wont get hosed, with your medical bills, it's shown over and over that you will most likely, be much more severely inured. It's your choice if you want to be a vegetable, but the taxpayers shouldn't get the bill for it.
