If you've been cursed by a Chinese yun bar alarm, that is malfunctioning, I've traced out the kill switch wires that need to be jumped, if you unplug the alarm, the key switch will no longer kill the engine,as the key kill wire, routes through it. This is for most sunny type scooters, most harnesses are the same, and these yun ba alarms should be the same, on the bike harness side, there should be a black with a white stripe, and a brown with a white stripe, right next to each other, one wire goes to the kill switch circuit and cdi, and one wire comes from ignition kill on the key switch (grounds when key is off) don't cut the plug off,if you ever want a real alarm, every connection you need,is in there, if you are going to trash the yun ba, cut off its connector,as close to the case as you can, save the pigtail, on the pigtail, there should be a gray wire, and a pink wire, they should match the previously mentioned wires, by plugging this in,you have connected the key switch kill,to the kill circuit, I strongly advise hiding a kill switch somewhere on the bike,as I'm sure all thieves know,by unplugging the connector, the bike kick starts without a key, or unplugging the key switch and kick starting.

I remember that Arlo Guthry tune. A few years after hearing it, I had my first motorcycle. just don't ride down a mountain at 150 mph playing an acoustic guitar

Ok I'm rebuilding my scooter still, and the new rear fender was too close to the stock airbox,my options were a crappy China open filter,or come up with something new. Multiple pictures- imgur.com/a/HIXgIUF

If he used my phone for a headlight, he would probably run into something. if the lights worked,he had a licience ,and he had registered it, he probably could have ridden on the interstate, since it's a 150

We'll remember him. Have a most sincere bone on the OCG.Seems nearly every time I ride, I have a close call with someone who's obviously drunk... OR texting... OR both. Makes it almost enjoyable to deal with a sober jerk trying to hit me on-purpose! It's easier to predict THOSE drivers than the ones who left their brains at the bar...Now, many states are adding "legal" marijuana to the lethal mix. I'd think there are enough ways to get folks killed without legalizing things that send inhibitions off to LaLa Land... and, with no legal benchmark to even prove impairment. Driving/riding when I was a kid was probably less than HALF as dangerous as it is today. Yet I still saw several of my riding pals injured and killed by poor driving by those who hit them, without them being drunk or impaired. Nowadays, we have to deal with terminally brain-dead alcohol and drug users. Even at 71 and not nearly as agile as when I was young, it's not bad enough to make me stop riding... At least not quite yet. If Texas legalizes recreational pot, THAT may be the final straw... Ride safe, watch your six and remember it's a meat-grinder out there, and WE are the sausage... Leo (trying hard to grow eyes in the back of my gray-haired head) in Texas I think they will use the same sobriety tests they use on drinkers, you can even get a DUI for legal cold medicine, if a road side test shows it's impairing you. Whether it's booze or weed, impaired is impaired.

electrical is pretty safe, it's all about procedure and safety, when people get in a hurry is when they get hurt

Having done both, I have to give it to the plumber, ever crawled under an old house through leaked s*** ? Then come face to face with a possum, snake,or skunk? Plus broken glass, nails sticking through the floor, and my favorite down here, scorpions. Mike rowe did it on dirty jobs, and he gets it now, my favorite while in building maitinence, the cow who called us at 3 am, because she got an a cheek stuck in the toilet seat, we had to call 911,then unbolt the toilet, with her on it. And help carry both outside, wrapped in a sheet. Things that cannot be unseen
