The starter is hot because it's sitting on top of the engine next to a controlled gasoline fire, and it's made of metal

My dad bought it from his elderly neighbor who had bought it new in Florida and brought it back, 200 miles on it when I got it,and e gas had ruined the original carb. The mileage is right as it had all documentation. It's always been taken care of, oil changed etc, and it literally fell apart by 2000 miles

it, I had it running, no lights, tore it apart to replace the stator plug, now it won't start again, I've had it with this dam , the entire ignition system and stator is new, the fuel system is new, I've been out there in the freezing rain trying to fix it, it's laying in the mud where I kicked it, and that's where it's going to stay. I will never buy another Chinese scoot, 200 dollars in parts, and two months and it still won't run, I've had it

the replacement pins for my cdi box plug are supposed to be here in the morning, I had the scooter running for a little while, before the ground pin gave up for good. Vega helmets also sent me replacement vents, after one of my vents blew off, before all my scooter parts started self destructing at one time. I had kept forgetting to call them, they had never heard of losing a vent, but it was on there before I left, and gone when I got home.

it's been raining all day so I didn't have time to change the connectors over, I run weatherpacks, but I'll get out there tomorrow and see what it does, it's interesting the pickup coil generated .6 volts cranking which is good, the new pickup coil generates 2.1 volts which is the highest I've seen one.

Lost no spec for oem or standard either. That stator you got from Amazon? What does the vendor say? John I'm sending it back, I have a spare, 40 volts in circuit is pretty low for a cranking voltage, this stator has maybe 10 miles on it, and the charge coil shows signs of having been hot, the wrapping has changed color significantly, I could see that if it had been in service for a while, but not ten miles.

40 cranking is below spec, my original stator had this issue and once I swapped it, it was fine, anything below 50 cranking with a good battery and normal cranking speed is suspect

I raise you Kalakukko, or fish cock , it's Finn, I haven't eaten it in years, of course we also have blood pudding, and a dish similar to haggis, made with reindeer parts.

they glue the magnets to keep them from shifting, then the inner cover goes on and gets riveted in place.
