This is a hot topic however plugging a motorcycle or scooter tire is a temporary fix to get you to the tire shop for a replacement tire or at least a patch installed by removing the tire, grinding the area around the puncture from behind and cold vulcanizing a patch on from behind. The issue is not in the 50% that will have no problems but becoming one of those few among the other 50% that have a catastrophic failure afterwards instead of just an irritating slow leak. Are you willing to risk life to save the cost of a scooter tire. You mention Bible Study so you should be aware that Safety Regulations started there with laws even covering the need to have a safety rail around a raised terrace or porch to prevent injury or death. Even causing the death of another in an accident would require fleeing to a city of refuge because a life had been lost due to your actions and staying there until the death of the current High Priest which could be a very long or very short time off depending on the age and health of the High Priest. We are not under the old law code but it shows the high value of life that was held under that law and is something to consider when taking risks that could harm ourselves or others. You may want to consider this at a future study session but refrain from continuing it in any depth here. 50/50 odds really ?! % of home patch jobs last longer than the tire and the other 9.9% fail as a slow leak and are do to improper application the plugs don't fall out. In fact it is a pain in the ars to remove a plug at all after the glue sets. So 0.1% is left over for complete idiocy like trying to plug holes Bigger than the instructions recommend or not cleaning the tire as instructed. But even with complete plug glue failure the tire is still not gonna explode it's just going to go flat. In the back tire it's a minor inconvenience. In the front tire? Well then yes it can be a little hard to stay upright if you're tire is flimsy. On my scooter I have lost pressure due to a lost valve stem. It was little more than something to be mad about. That hole is 5/8th of an inch that is a BIG hole. hmm ok you can have the .005% that's left for your explosive tire of doom

Check to make sure your starter relay is not sticking on But otherwise your starter is going to be the same temperature as your motor, hot.

I am at a 1000 ft elevation and we have some good hills in PHX My carb is the stock setup for sea level so it came out just fine With my pod filter and micro exhaust giving it more air flow Still a little rich when cold though

If you're going to be running at faster speeds I recommend The IRC SS-530 rear 130/70-13 This rear tire cost twice as much but will last ×4 And Shinko SR567F front - 110/ -13/Blackwall Together they will drop your RPM about 500 and get the Chinese speedometer closer to honesty

almost every YouTube I see with an Indian on a motorcycle is silly stuff an over powered bike wheeling out from under or a family of five doing 40mph and everyone is wearing sandals! I don't know if it's because that's the way it is or if it's like red necks always shown as fools even though most are sensible

Yes I have I currently have mine pulling through my DIY oil mist reclamation canister It's good for a cold morning and acts as a pcv when I don't need the extra oxy.

Problem is the profit margin is just not there, this Scooter market is trained for very low cost junk parts and upselling is very difficult. never made it out of the meeting room. I could do the same with some very high end Forged pistons and even Cylinders and Nikasil them, same gig the market just=t hasn't shown it would step up to quality American made components. NCY already has a face plate without the fan. See here.......... www.dansgaragetalk.com/topic/686-ankle-biter-nibbi-clutch-ncy-vari-upgrade/?page=1Yea I have seen that one it's very nice. The one I have been drooling over is the codeword JDM pulley with the shotgun brass Inserts. I like more flywheel I get a better launch and less variator slapping. I made this as an experiment At first this had no effect other than eliminating variator slap And surprising to me easier starting. But after I cut my clutch weight it had a noticeable effect on launch. This guy has a good explanation so I will let him do it I managed to get 500 RPM out of it before I got tired of filing and weighing.

Yea I see them little 50 variator faces out of steel. It makes me wish that was the way it's done for the 150. Steel pulley with a removable fan would be nice I am almost tempted to find a machine shop and have one made. But somehow I think I will end up with something inferior to what I can do myself. I don't wanna pay some ars $80 an hour for 3hours. To do something I can do in half an hour with that same equipment. Not that your an ars or incompetent I was referring to the local "talent"
For a hardened cast steel cam pulley I would pay $60 An anodized aluminum 6160 face pulley with a nice smooth face would be worth about $40 In steel about $30 An aluminum clutch bell with a removable steel liner would be worth about a $100

I prefer to not strain the motor and lower the rpm to rum at speed.(Better for longevity) Always puzzling why NOT initially selecting a scooter with sufficient engine cc's to CRUISE at desired speed preference appears to be a "denial issue"? The 50cc 4-stroke crowd seems to expect their 35mph scoots should go 50mph . . and 150cc 55mph scoots should go 70mph! My scooter really will do 70 mph I had it all the way to 80 mph on my China speedometer it was 10% optimistic so that gets me 72 mph on flat level road with no tuck I only did that the one time. I didn't do so much work on my scooter to go that fast though I spend my time cruzin 45 to 55 And once in I while I will take an exit of two on the freeway at 65 It's just more reliable the way I have it set up. I have a 250 scooter as well but that thing is a pig it's heavy and only gets 80 mpg it's just for long trips a when I want two up
