The Indian motorcycle and motor scooter industry is HUGE (just look at what Mahindra and other companies are offering) and their designs and technical sophistication is only getting better with time. Yet another reason the Chinese are being forced to improve quality.

It is becoming like that over here, motorcycle imports have already outnumbered cars imports, traffic jams are to blame, cars became affordable for the middle-low class and up, making the roads obsolete way too fast, government incompetence can't keep up with the infrastructure needs fast enough. The massive motorcycle riders grow comes with an equally massive dead toll, people pick up a motorcycle without a clue on how to ride it, no preparation along with no protective gear aside from the helmet (which is mandatory) is the norm.

almost every YouTube I see with an Indian on a motorcycle is silly stuff an over powered bike wheeling out from under or a family of five doing 40mph and everyone is wearing sandals! I don't know if it's because that's the way it is or if it's like red necks always shown as fools even though most are sensible

"47% of households own a MC in India" CEOs in the USA would do anything to harness that level of market share. That is a staggering statistic.
