It can be a big problem if the carburetor diaphragm have a small hole only like a mm at the rubber in the corner? The scoot runs fine but i cant buy one at the moment, maybe in 2,3 weeks Thanks

2013 125cc cali classic, im the second owner, over 8k miles on it. When i got it, it ran fine. Then it wasnt going above 50mph so i changed the oil, gear oil and cleaned the filter. now it wont exceed 50 mph after having some initial issues, the motor would lose power after 35mph, but it somehow fixed itself but now if i go down a hill at my new top speed of 50 and it exceeds it the motor bogs down and keeps not wanting to go faster. My first thoughts are carb needs cleaning or fuel lines spout? It runs just fine idling and under 45 mph. Any thoughts? Thank you for any help! Check fuel and air lines for damage

I wouldn't use anything with more pressure than the garden hose. The electronics may take a long time to dry out if you get them wet. i done it anyway yesterday, i remove the battery and give it a good clean, it's a project of mine wich it will last about a month more to i start the engine so i think it will dry well in that time, thanks for the reply

"As of July 1, 2016, North Carolina law requires that all registered mopeds have liability insurance coverage with limits no less than $30,000/$60,000/$25,000. Failure to maintain liability insurance coverage constitutes a lapse and may result in the revocation of your valid North Carolina license plate." . . source I stand corrected. They still have No insurance as they have No License to have Revoked. Meth Heads, Heroin Heads and Drunks. they are i just cancel my insurance on my 125cc since i live in a rural place and only drive it 3 months per year, so i'm plus 100£ every year and i have no remorse about it

Hi, In order to replace the upper cam chain guide, is it enough to remove the camshaft? If yes, when you open the 4 head nuts, do you have to replace the head gasket even if you don't move it? Thank you. Yes. If you just remove the head cover and then remove the camshaft with the chain on it it's all good, about the gasket you dont need to replace it only if it's damaged

After setting the proper valve lash test to see if you have good compression Remove the belt cover and turn the motor over by hand You should have a springy resistance when it's compressing If you don't have that then it's bad valves, rings or cylinder and you will need to order a new head gasket so you can remove the head and take a look. I remember when i turn the engine over in the right place by hand before i adjust the valves it has pretty good resistance. But anyway i have another 125 with same engine and on that one it takes half of second for the engine to start, also i remove the kick start on both since they broken and cheap so i count on the electric start. So i like i say i have no idea why is so hard to start even when i give gas it will struggle to start than a click sound and boom the engine dies but then if i start it again and give a little gas it slowly comes to life, or me its not a big problem but like i said i put many new things on it and still no results. lol, i have every tool a man needs, and ofc the valve tool from 3mm to 50 mm Just trying to help, some people dont want to spend $20 on a tool thats only used occasionaly. In this case the thickness of a sodacan wall is close enough to use to set valve lash. yeah man thanks anyway

.003in=.0762mm .004in =.1016mm This. You have aluminum soda pop cans there, yes? Cut a strip out of the side of one, fold the last two-thirds in half one time. Then use this as a feeler gauge to set the valve lash. lol, i have every tool a man needs, and ofc the valve tool from 3mm to 50 mm

Hello scooter heads, i have this starting problems on a 125, i replace the start motor (no help) then starter relay (no help) i have this problem at starting since i buy it, i have also adjust the valves some while ago but maybe i leave to much clearence or not sure, i remember i go with a 5mm on both intake and exhaust. But maybe it's to much or to little..? And after i done the adjust still no help. The battery i am 100% is good. Now i am sure it must come from the valve adjust since every wire is in place. Does some one know the real size of the adjustment of the valves? 5mm is WAY to large of a gap. 0.003INCHES and 0.004Inches for intake and exhaust. il go then with that as soon as i have time and post my result, also how much is that in mm? I live in a metric system country
