Can a scooter engine stall and run rough if the valve cover gasket is bad?

I have gas coming out of my ventilation hose is that normal wich ventilation hose? If it's the drain hose from the bottom of the carb maybe the screw got loose and you need to screw it back in, but i doubt that is the problem, look it up

I have a Tao 125 ATV starts and runs 30 seconds and dies if I jack the back tires up and put it in drive and mash the gas it will run all day long it's just when there is weight on it please help It also sounds like it sucking a bunch of air in around carb maybe from air filter I've sprayed around it and it doesn't rive up have you replace the cdi, check engine pressure? In the worst case you have a top end problem but dont go there yet, start with the small things, i would take all the plastic apart and look very closely at the wiring

My 2008 49.5 or 50cc Roketa is have major issues. I have solved the starting issue with a new Carburetor, intake manifold, vacuum lines, fuel line, spark plug, ignition coil, fresh gas, fresh oil change, but I am still having a major issue with my scooter starting and stalling out after a few seconds of running, or I can get it started and idling fine. BUT as soon as I apply any throttle at all it just dies. Can anyone help me? ay bro have you fix it?

Turned out the gasket after the plastic spacer on the head of the engine was broken and really thin like you said. i end up making my own gasket and no more air leak. Thanks

In my opinion these chinese scooters especially the 125 and 150 are better let alone if you want them to be reliable, but if you have the scoot only as a toy you can spend 400$ easily on the carb and exhaust maybe must play with the jets also and from my experience the quality of the parts is not that good. Good luck

I just can't see a running engine being shut off, then developing a major internal issue from trying to restart it,it's most likely you bumped something while installing the cable guess i take the carb away again and order some spacers

why do you think something is wrong inside the engine, when it was running fine before? you broke a throttle cable, that wouldn't make something break inside of the engine. you have a leak, hence the sound coming from under the carb, did you replace the spacer under the intake? because i just put a new sparkplug and run it for 1 min before of course it died and it was covered in oil from the middle of the threads to the top of the spark plug. The spacer looks alright

I suspect you jared something when changing the cable. I suspect electrical. John nope I have tried everything. My only option i think is to look inside the engine cause from what i read i may have bad piston rings, winter is coming so i have some time on my hands and first of all i need to test the compression but i dont have the tool for it right now
