The knocking could be a flipped weight or worst case the crankshaft, but you have a replacement or is the stroker on it already.

I've used that head it has bigger valves, but the ports are crappy and the valves started to leak after 1500 miles on my stepsons scoot.

How's the stroker running? I went with the 3mm because of your thread with the troubles with the 4mm.

The piece is on there so the pump don't shut off thinking the tank is full, if you cut the piece and stick the pump down the hole the pump clicks off. The tank is shallow and you'll have to hold the pump high even if you cut the crossbar off. I just pump the gas in slow no issue with splashing, if your new to scooting you'll get used to it in time or just cut the piece off with some snips its thin.

Right no gaskets on the spacer I used permatex red high temp gasket sealer on both sides of the spacer. Cover the spacer good, but don't block the oil passage and let it set up before you start it.

For what it cost to fill up a scooter why not use 91 or couldn't hurt anything, but low grade on a modded motor could detonate and destroy your build. My scoot pinged and shut off on the highway at full throttle put in did the same run and no issue. I'm not sure if it was the fuel or something else, but I'm quite sure it was the fuel since I replaced everything on it with high quality performance parts.
