I did about 100 miles in one day driving up and down the beach rd. it took all day because traffic was heavy. The next day I could hardly move. The 50cc scooters just aren't made for comfort. :/

Not sure about your scooter but a lot of the ones with ten inch rims can't handle anything bigger then a 3.5 tire.

Not trying to be rude but you seem to want advice but only of it's what you want to hear. You and your son can face civil charges and he may face crimal charges (theft by deception) because he knew it was a scam and kept the money for himself.

I was lucky. Mine has sit outside without a cover for the winter (3 months) and started right up with a jump. Last year i had to clean the carb just to get it to start.

Partsforscooters has a pretty good inventory. I haven't looked but they may have it.

I'm guessing one more gasket would give you the needed clearance. Others have had to add one when installing a bbk.

Before ordering it would help if you knew what gears you already have in the scooter. Seems like a lot of work but you'll know what you have now and what gears to look for.
