I am beginning to think that the trikes are a answer for some of the people that have disabilities ,a couple have already answered your post. I have a problem with balance on a two wheeler ,so I got myself a Chinese 3 wheeler. It was the answer to my problem, balance is perfect for me now . These Chinese trike can be had new for 1200.00 to 1800'00,and with sales you can get one for 1200.00 and up. As all on this forum will tell you ,you have to do your upkeep .This is my second Chinese scooter and I have found them reliable in my experience but as I say there is some maintenance . I am able to do the work and I am a pretty old guy, so I expect you younger guys can do it . I do agree with the others ,that making a 3wheeler could be a problem, and you might be better off selling you 2 wheeler and seriously considering a trike. It could be the answer to your problem. I am very sorry about your medical problems as I have had some also and I feel buying this 3 wheeler and working on it has given me a new lease on life. Good Luck on what ever you decide.

Dang Verne I do that on a Sat afternoon with no where to go. Like they say, it can take 3 hours and 50 miles to go to the 7-11 to get milk and bread if ya ride a bike/scoot. But, that rain, when I lived in England, the sky was always gray, and a nice day was so rare and far between. Maybe ya can get that Hacienda back... Hi Dave ,good to hear from you ! How is everything going ? Moved yet? Cheers

Seems pretty much split down the middle. I was concerned more about the look. I dont haul much. I think this trunk on this scoot is ascetically nice. Plus a bigger end cant hurt in the profile of traffic behind you. I have no need for a trunk at this time , but when and if the time comes then that I need a trunk then I most likely will put the trunk back on .

Verne Yea, My rear trunk rattles somewhat, and where the rear deck/fenders fits up against the rear section of the scooter body, seems to rub a bit, as I can see where the paint is slightly rubbing off. But, if I know what it is, and it ain't life threatening, and I can 'fix' it, I'll deal with it. Or, turn the radio up a little higher, or, take my hearing aids out. Main thing is you're riding. That's gotta be worth something!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I also lost a bolt holding the front body kit panel on. Nothing really dramatic, easy fix, but, the fuggin thing vibrated right off. The suspension is very unforgiving on some of these roads. Anyway, that's my story and I'm sticking to it. Dave ,can't take the hearing aids out or I won't hear the cars, but I will try the trick of using some insulation between the sections.Glad to hear I am not the only one with rattles! I've got 64 klms on the scoot now ,haven't figured what that is in miles yet, whats that about 54 miles? As long as it was just the bolt you lost, you are safe.

::)I have a 2012 Ice Bear Cyclone. I did get a lot of noise from the rear. I lined the fenders where the rear deck attaches with a thin foam lined paper my wife had from Hobby Lobby. No more noise. I also had some from the plastic strip across the dash. I put a sheet metal screw in each side. Silenced that also. There is a lot of noise From the plastic, but I keep on working, and I've pretty much taken care of it. I don't suppose I'll ever get rid of it all, sine it's very thin, cheap plastic. If it was a heaver, better grade, it would be much better. Thanks for the suggestions ,I will try them .

A point of interest - Do any of you that have trikes experience much body noise from the plastic panels . I have gone over as much of the panels as possible but when on the road I get lots of noises . Is this normal ?

Is that the way you spell Obama or is that 0 your IQ? Gosh I am sorry if I spoiled your day just because I spelled Obama with a o instead of a a, Is 's a sad world when some people have to be so picky ! Why not take a ride on your scooter instead of being sarcastic???
