New Pirelli Diablo in the back, and a Avon Viper Stryke up front.

Good grief Leo! Glad you're OK. (A blowout on a car is bad enough, but on two wheels?....YIKES!) I have to agree with others here, do you really want to run the risk with any more of them "stinko" tires? Why not just paint up a brand name (American or European) tire? I also think it's a good idea like you said to check the age, and replace them every five years or so.

I don't think Puma ever marketed the 250...but good luck anyway. Thanks. They did but dropped it from their lineup. Most all the dealer's who carried the Znen 250 (aka the Roar) have quit, or are out of business.

Thanks Cookies. I have a Znen 250, (same as Puma E250) so this may be a new source for the hardest thing to find......body panels.

That can happen with motorcycle tires are over 2 years old and you are riding at night when its potentially cool and damp since there can now be a light sheen of oil and water on the road. This is also the tradeoff you get if you put hard compound tires to get longer wear on a bike. Bottom line on the Honda is to keep very close to the OEM size tires on the bike to keep the handling balanced and stay with established name brand tires such as Pirelli, Michelin, Dunlop or the German Heidenau. yep, recommend swap out time on motorcycle/scooter tire is roughly 5-6 years (putting in Pirelli Diablo)

How much wear is on the piston rings? Also, I just got done with a valve replacement (OEM Honda)it wasn't all that difficult.

All that for 1350? No wonder that it may have been snapped up in just four days.

I'd go with a newer scoot and save myself from hassles

I tend to warn people off from buying any scoots from the 2008 "era" as it was when fuel prices had gone through the roof and the Chinese were turning out scoots first and worrying about quality later. Which means the 2008-09 scoots have a higher incidence of mechanical trouble, the part that may be in your favor is the fact that it HAS 14k on it and may be one from that time that is free of "issues" just not at that price.

BTW, speaking of all things dual sport, check out Spicy 110's rather active site on YouTube. (He started out with the Chinese made version of your bike sold in the UK)

Hmm, Bigfoot also seems to show up during periods of UFO activity. Have you experienced any episodes of "missing time"?

Nice machine. I'd still do a PDI just like on a scoot.
