If and when you get a new scooter, put a tracking unit on it and let the police meet the thieves at their door.

I seem to have a corroded intake valve? Popped off the cylinder head and I'm replacing them with new OEM Honda valves.

Rocky - the Lance that you had - was it an older Chinese-made one, or the more current Taiwanese-made? 2008 so it was a Znen. Lance dropped their entire lineup and started over with Sym due to Znen's inconsistent quality whenever Znen took on more orders than they could fulfill. Znen did not seem to care about existing obligations for delivering quality products, only in increasing production and sales numbers with new clients. That's why I caution people about buying a scooter from around 2008-2009, back then gas prices had gone through the roof and Chinese manufacturers were slapping them together as fast as possible just to make another sale, with the expectant results in quality and and reliability. (And reputation as well)

Kat, good to have a high quality battery, even better to have a high quality service department to keep you and Peej covered.

Yes Leo, but was DeeDee in any movies? No? Then doesn't count. 'bender was talking about movies not real life. Heck, real life, I betcha' you can find a macho example for almost any job. Kat, Deedee was a featured character in "The Saint Valentine's Day Massacre" staring Jason Robards as Al Capone... Many "Roaring Twenties" movies centered in Chicago have O'Banion as a character since he was a "major" impediment to Torio and Capone. I believe his character also appeared in other Roaring Twenties films, and the TV "Untouchables" series... He simply had to end up pushing up daisies... LOL! Ya jus' can't tell the story of Al Capone, without including the Irish "petal-pusher"... Then came "Bugs Moran"... The intended prime-target on Valentine's Day. Cheesh, the ITALIAN wise-guys REALLY were hard on the IRISH mobsters! Must be more macho in spaghetti than in potatoes!Of course, in Deedee's case, "macho" definitely didn't mean "good"... That phenomenon happens all too often.
I'm not so sure I could find macho examples for ANY job... For example: "Figure Skating"... Although a few of the burly women skaters are sorta macho... Or would THAT be "macha"? EEEEWWWWW!Leo, good call. BTW, if anyone is interested in the history of this "florist" check out "Guns and Roses:The untold story of Dean O'Banion" By Rose Keefe (five star rating at Amazon)

What a great choice! The PCX is a beautiful machine! And with Honda reliability, one sweet ride that won't leave you feeling underpowered.

Why not just disassemble them and sell off the parts?

I can understand your dilemma. When I first started looking for a scooter it was like looking at a whirling kaleidoscope lol! So many models and sizes you didn't know where to start, just take your time, do your research and after awhile you'll start knowing your way around. You've already have some good leads from the folks here, and as far as the " love-hate" in the opinions about Chinese scooters, there are better and worse even in that market, and a lot of times it comes down to doing a proper PDI (set up of your scoot) and maintenance. BTW, I agree with the rest of the Dawgs here about going for the larger 125 models. Good luck!

Mike, I'm shocked and saddened to hear what has happened to a fellow scooterist. I can't even imagine the physical and emotional pain you must be going through right now. Please take it easy and recover. I'm sure your friends and family are there for you and be assured the folks at IITR will do anything they can to help.
