Just got me a new scooter today. The photos say a whole lot about a deal that I just could not pass up. The seller will be delivering it when my cheque clears. I am really excited, I test rode it and did not think that such a large scooter would be so light and nimble feeling. (It is a 400cc Burgman.)

Congratulations Kevin, I've owned two Burgman 400's and one 650 and they were all great bikes, if I get another and I might it will be a 400, they definitely like to be ridden.

Wow, what a deal. I just had one of those pull up beside me today on the way to work. Looked great and sounded sweet. Hope you enjoy many rides on it!

Wow. I never see used Burgys at a price like that. I'm glad you pounced on it. Around here, I see used Burgman 400s for around the price of a new SMAX. The Burgy should be really smooth on the open highways.

Geez!.....Great price! Be sure to give all the systems the once over before doing any extensive riding.

It's a very nice-looking older B400, 2002-06...keep an eye on the oil level (they burn through the PCV) and check the valves. (I recall valve checks were every 6K.) How many miles?

Already warned about the oil burning, and, told the slight modification that has already been done to slow the oil burning down. The guy I bought if from did all the good stuff that a person keeping a bike would do, oil change, valves, . . . even new tires. And, the bike has only 16000 miles on it. The only thing wrong with it is some minor body damage, mostly scrapes.

Nice. Has the coolant ever been changed? If not...do it! What year is it?
Also: original belt?

Congratulations! Have a bone!
Everybody seems to like a Burgy... I test-rode a used 400 like yours in my quest for a larger scoot. The only reason I opted for the Kymco was because arthritis not only makes it hard for me to climb onto a big bike, but even the "semi-hump" on Burgman-style scoots is tough. That also kept me from buying a sweet Kymco 500...
Burgies are not only sweet rides, but actually have enough room for a full-sized PASSENGER! Not the case with most scoots.
Enjoy your new ride! And, RIDE SAFE!

Yeah kev', we want more details! Year, bells'n'whistles, how many miles you drove on it when it finally arrived.
I'm rather surprised anyone realized it was for sale, that you saw that little piece of paper taped to the side. Good catch! And congrats, kev'!
