Heavier weights may help a tab , but a gear set will for sure . Note you may need lighter weights if you get too tall of gears

My Echarm came with a decompression tube that has a removable plug in the end of the tube . I have seen some with a catch can in after market parts . At first it never had any come out since I rode it in the midrange until it was broken in . My Echarm does have a rev limiter in the ECU ( it has EFI and no CDI box ) . If I would hit the rev limit and hold it at WOT sometimes a tiny sip of bubbled oil would be in the tube . I emptied it every other month as it would only be a sip and I would put in a sip of fresh oil to top it off . I think decompression is a great idea since it helps prevent blowing out seals and gaskets . My Echarm has enough HP to where I do not have to max it out to cruise 60+MPH even with a passenger . I have hit 75 MPH and got a warning ticket for going 72 on an interstate .
Has anyone tried installing a kit with a catch can ?

Removing the restrictor in the exhaust you need to upjet as it may be lean and bogging

I have a 19mm carb on my BBK and it runs great . Some come with a 17.5mm or smaller . The 2T power kits often have a 21mm but 19 works fine . You can bolt on a 70 BBK very easy and will have to upjet and test out a few sizes . To go 90cc you have to get the case bored to fit a piston and the crank and will cost a fortune at a machine shop not to mention having to split the case apart . A BBK will have more power and tuning the CVT alone like changing the weights and clutch springs can do wonders even on a stock engine

I ran a 120 MJ on my 2T with a 47mm or 70cc BBK but I also had a Uni and racing pipe and a 19mm carb . Having a larger carb you get more air this need a larger jet than with a 19mm . Is this a 2T or 4T ? Mine became Pacman on gas compared to 50cc with a 75MJ . Here is some jetting tips jetting

Exhaust and jetting is more vital on a 2T since being lean will cause it to seize very fast compared to a 4T that often the piston cracks when too lean . If it did not lock up the rear wheel you may be lucky . I would remove the sparkplug and look at the color of the tip as it should be a lil whiteish in color . Ideally it should be a caramel brown as I prefer to be a lil rich than dead on it . Running too rich the plug will be black . I would put in just a squirt of 2T oil through the sparkplug hole and use the kickstart to move the piston to make sure the rings are oiled before trying to start it , which you should wait until you fix or replace the muffler . I had a Honda Urban Express and I removed the exhaust just to see how it would run and it ran so bad I did not go past my home . I had a Honda CR125 that while riding with a buddy a rock hit my pipe causing a hole in it . Well dang it was a major loss of power . Tried JB Weld but it blew out and I was told it could be welded since it was magnesium instead of steel . New pipe it was a beast again . My current 2T I installed a BBK , Uni airfilter and a racing pipe . It was much louder and I lost my bottom end power since it was not restricted but man it had more mid and top end power . I rode it like that for a while but I got tired of it being so loud like a Honda CR80 which made my ears ring at times . I put the stock pipe back on and wow I had a way faster takeoff and was more peppy in the mid with just a hair less top end power . Now mine has a pipe that has an expansion chamber like offroad bikes with a curved forward muffler . I have seen many 2T stock pipes that were only tubing without the expansion chamber which helps on creating power at top RPMs . When it was a 50 I had a small Uni vent cover for an airfilter and went from a 75 MJ to a MJ and it ran great with just a lil bit louder sound due to more air being sucked in . I later got the proper red Uni but nobody in town had a jet above a in the type it uses . Well impatient me I decided well I will just go down the street as it idled fine and barely had and bog . I forgot to oil the Uni and it had a hard seize that made the rear wheel lock up and I pushed it home . I let it cool and no start . Tried next day no start . I took the engine apart and the rings were fried and cylinder scared . I later had it do a soft seize due to my oil tank cracked and the oil leaked out of it . I let it cool and poured some 2T in the tank and putted home . I unhooked the oil line and now premix it . I need to remove the oil pump too . I had a Honda Elite bone stock and a Honda Elite that was upgraded to 90cc by Honda dealer from previous owner . It was a beast as it would smoke a 4T even with me having a passenger on . I rode it for two years and never once had a single issue not even a bulb go out . I put well over 10,000 miles on it . Here is another simple test to show just how important jetting and exhaust is to a 2T , remove the airbox lid and start it up . It should bog so bad that you can not go anywhere . When I was a young teen I used any 2T oil until I learned about full synthetic like Bel ray MC1 . Before I left a chemtrail and often had to clean oil off of the plug . The same buddy also told me about using the iridium NGK sparkplugs instead of the standard . I thought at first it was just to get more money out of me but they do fire better and not as prone to fouling out from oil deposits as the standard . Synthetic or synthetic blend also reduce fouled plugs and smoke . Mine only smokes at start up when its cold . I like Maxxima 2T Pro synthetic blend since its 10 a quart as most cheap oil around 6 and they smoke . I have used Motul 710 full synthetic and it ran great but it cost 17 a quart . Make sure it says safe for oil injector if you use yours as some oil is premix only and some can be used ether way . Genuine Honda parts cost way more than parts for the Chinese scoots . I would look around and see if you could find an aftermarket pipe with expansion chamber which will require installing a larger main jet and testing a few sizes to get it right . My dealer told me he worked on a 2T that idled fine but would soft seize even though it was not lean in the carb nor had an exhaust leak . He said it had a plug that was a hotter heat range than it should have and a new plug which was cooler and it was good again . You can go to Harbor Freight and get an engine compression test kit for 20 or so . It should be over 120 PSI .

This site says it uses Mikuni VM 11/22 like many 2T uses jets If that is correct here is jet kit which is cheaper than paying per jet prices jet kit

I would get a caliper to measure the exact size of the jets . If you do not have on Harbor Freight has them for cheap . Did you see this info while at JetsRUs ? identify jets I saw Mikuni and BS but not your exact model

The pecock is like an automatic off and on switch since it uses vacuum . A manual valve that you turn off or on you would always turn it off when parked so it does not over flow . When I had rides with no gas gauge reserve was a great friend .
When you drained the gas did you drain it out of the carb bowl too ? Remove , inspect and clean both jets ?
I have heard about some Rocketa 2T ( two strokes ) that had a tank venting issue that it would not work unless trhe gas cap was off or they drilled a vent hole in it . My offroad bikes had a hose coming out of the cap . You can get a syringe without the needle and try to draw vacuum to the pecock . Recheck the hoses to it as it is easy to install them wrong .
Was the new pecock exactly the same design as the old one ?
Old gas can varnish up the jets so remove and clean with any carb spray and a stiff wire to poke through them .
Is fuel filter on the right direction ? I have heard of some out of the crate on backwards from the factory . Is your fuel filter a see through type ? If so can you see fuel in it and is it full ?

Some scoots may be able to go 10mm wider if the have the clearance but many the only option would be sidewall height . Here is a visual calculator to compare two diff sizes tire calculator If you have scooter tires at a shop in town ride over and compare the sizes against each other . I am unsure if yours can or can not go up 10mm wider . At Cycle Gear they will only go up 1 size from the OEM tires .

I only use premium gas and I try to go where each grade has its own hose to avoid getting any 87 left in the line . Again my dealer had me sign a paper during the PDI that also said to only use premium . I know many say the use 87 with no issues , well day two with my first China scooter I got 87 by mistake . I was distracted by a pretty lady and hit the wrong button . I did not think it would matter that much . Well just over a mile later poof the piston cracked causing an instant loss of compression and power . I pulled over to see if I the spark plug wire came loose or if a hose did . I started it up and crept home . I took it to my dealer the next day since it was brand new and under warranty . My dealer asked if I used premium and me being honest I told him I put in 87 . He reminded me of our paperwork . I thought I was SOL but luckily he rebuilt the engine for free as I was having a mental meltdown . I have had around 30 mopeds , a mini bike , off road motorcycles , and street bikes and never once had a piston problem . I was a wild teen and rode everything like I stole it . After that I have only used premium every single time . I do use Shell and Quick Trip since they are close by , but I try to make my routes where the nonethanol stations are . I only go to trusted places as one time when I was in the country riding around I stopped at a station and the gas had some water in it .
Seafoam is great to use a tiny bit here and there to keep it clean . One would use more if the fuel system needed to be cleaned . If so follow up by removing the jets and clean by hand .

Ethanol can dissolve cheap rubber fuel hoses that are not designed to use it . Get new fuel hoses by the foot from any auto part store can prevent this . Ethanol absorbs water 20x times more than gas with out it . My dealer made me sign a paper not to use E during the PDI as it is no good for a stock scoot . I have a few places without ethanol and wow it is worth the ride to get it . Here is a link that shows ethanol free gas stations by state Pure Gas Here is an old article about ethanol problems with small engines Ethanol problems

Most scooter batteries are under 10 amps where a car battery can be 450 or more amps and be too much for it . Most trickle chargers put out 1/2 amp so it is a safe and slow rate of charging . I have the Harbor Freight one it works fine but I wish it had a meter like the Battery Tenders often do . Mine only had a red LED that lights up once it is hooked up to the battery . BT has optional quick connects to avoid removing the battery cover to charge it . I have let my 2T sit for over a month and the battery was still good . In the winter time , more so up north the cold will drain a small battery in a short time .
It should start up with the kick start as it runs off of the stator and the battery if for the starter and blinkers . Do you have an alarm ? I read where some alarms can drain a battery just like a mild short can too . A trickle charger is a great investment for not much money .
