I would remove the jets as they can get trash and film built up in them and the holes are small so any blockage makes a difference . If the diaphragm on the top of the carb is torn or has a hole in it will run bad or not at all .
All 4Ts will need the valves adjusted at some pint in time some out of the crate need it . When they get too tight they do not open up enough to allow fuel and air into the cylinder thus it stalls or will not start at all .
Im lucky my Echarm has a blowby tube so it does not blow seals or gets oil in the airfilter . It only gets a sip in the tube if I redline it for a while

I love light jacket weather as I hate to burn up and deal with flying insects that annoy me . I also like winter riding as I have winter gear and I feel safer with my armor and helmet on than shorts and sandals in the hot summer time .

I asked my scooter dealer and he also said they are TGB and they are better in quality than most . I wish my 2T had the gas tank like theirs does since mine only holds 4 liters but otherwise seems similar since both have rear discs which is very rare for a 50

A Uni is for sunny rides since you can not in the rain . I had a TaoTao ATM with an Air Sal 50mm BBK two 3/8 holes drilled in the airbox , stock pipe and used MJ

Its fun to make something go faster than it should . There is no comparison but I still like my scoots as I am a die hard two wheeler

Yes the valve will prevent it flooding while parked . My motorcross CR 80 and 125 only had a valve and they were screamers . Just make sure the hose is routed so gravity will help it flow down from the tank to the carb

Even though its still a beast with over 18k miles I would love more power . What sucks is I can not find a single BBK for my engine but I did for the CFMoto 250 which made it a 300cc with 4 valve head and forged piston but after reading how Scootertronics is shady I would not order parts from them . I can tell my sliders have worn down as takeoff is faster but tops at 65 to 68 instead of 75 MPH and RPMs are higher at 60 according to my ears since no tach .
My scooter dealer has a CFMoto Glory which has the same engine on a diff body but he installed and injector ( we have EFI ) for a 250 , and muffler for a 250 that looks like a Cherrybomb , custom modded the variator and drilled holes in the airbox and he said he hit 86 MPH GPS certified , 12.8 HP on a dyno and runs a fuel aspect ratio of 13 to 1 instead of 14.75 to 1 . He is a lil guy too with custom made shocks , Pirellis and a Cooscase trunk

My Echarm has a LC engine instead of the AC GY6 and I wondered if the 250 has the same bolt pattern as I have not read on anyone doing this . Yes I know most 250s are for short wheels and drums instead of 16s and disc brakes . I saw this model of Jonway has a 125 and 150 AC and a 250 or 300 LC option www.jonway.com/Explorer-.html

Buying a used scooter is a gamble since so many abuse them . It looks great hope you get the bugs worked out so you can ride it

Interesting as I read where some said they bought a fan and it did not work as good as the stock one . Sure being lighter takes less power from the engine to spin it . You can get a thermometer for 30 at HF or Lowes that you point it at something instead of having to make contact . I will be borrowing one from a buddy to compare Prestone vs Engine Ice since my temp gauge does not have numbers

I have seen 2Ts with a single compression ring for racing and 2 ring for street use . When my TaoTao fried two pistons and I NEVER had a piston problem after having 40 or so two wheelers I was looking into getting a Wiseco forged piston for a Honda XR and a 50mm cylinder . They cost a fortune but they are machined out of billet and forged instead of cast . HGere is the link www.wiseco.com/Powersports/Pistons.aspx

I thought the Vento Zip was a 2T ? What makes you think it has a 2T tranny with a 139QMB engine ?
